Thank you for the Zepp Nagoya setlist walk thru 🙂Dream Theater is known to play their albums live with the songs in the same order as on the album. DT is my #2 band after Band-Maid. I saw DT live in 2020 where they played their newest album at the time in its entirity, took a 15 minutes break, then they played all songs from the album Metropolis, Pt. 2: Scenes From a Memory in order as well. I'm very happy that Band-Maid plays all songs from their latest album. I hope to get a ticket for Zepp Haneda when I arrive in Tokyo in a few weeks time. All the best 🙂
Thanks for the rundown SJ, sounds like the ladies are still kicking butt. On a personnel note, it sounds like you may not have had the greatest of years yourself. Make sure you take the time to look after yourself and attend to your own health both physically and mentally. All the best.
Strange how many fans write about the Maids making them cry, isn't it? Laugh at me, I don't care but I cry at every single one of Miku's solo songs. Damn it...
Thanks for the info on ZEPP Nagoya and I hope all is good with you, or at least better. I now feel like a kid waiting for Christmas…only three more weeks to go until I get to see them at ZEPP Haneda. You’ve got me all excited! Never seen them live before.
@@Hogie-iv8bd Hah! I’ve been to Japan many many times and as recent as this past May. Although I’ve known about Band-Maid’s existence from the early days, I never really listened to them until earlier this year. I probably thought they were more gimmick than substance considering the types of girl groups that dominate the music charts in Japan. Man was I wrong!! They now have me totally hooked…my favorite band ever (no exaggeration). Just so happens that I already had a trip booked to Japan for late November. For fun I looked at the concert schedule and lo and behold it coincided with our time in Tokyo. Took a shot at getting tickets and was lucky enough to do so. Like I said..so excited!
Wild guess - this show will at least be streamed. I have a list of shows now that they've streamed which I wish they'd release on Blu-Ray - Eggman, Yokohama Spinoff, Shibuya Acoustic and now this one. They can bung them all in a plain brown cardboard boxset without anything fancy and I'd be happy.
Had a white sheer curtain that they projected lyrics and other patterns. You could see through it, but they were obscured some. They dropped it after the intro to the next song.
Show them they project the music video in the screen behind them. All the drums and bass were played by Band-Maid. Dany's singing and guitar are from the track
SJ, great to see you back doing these cool concise reviews, and also thanks for posting the photo's at the end of the clip, great set list, hoping to see them back here in L.A., but i feel for the rest of the world still waiting patiently for their first show, so am hoping they get a chance to do a World Dominating Tour next year, heck would be fun to travel to Europe/UK to see them. we'll see what they have up their collective sleeves. Thanks again!
What a set list! But I think they are trying to kill us. First they drain us of all our fluids with the Letters/The One/Memorable combo 😢, then at the end they want us to Jamp Jamp Jamp for 7 minutes straight with NO GOD and Magie back to back!? But ... what a way to go. 😂
Hell yeah!! The whole damn album!!!! This is Band-Maid mann...woww..hey just chiming in on Brightest Star - I was listening to that song last night - and stuff really realllyy clicked for me with that songg.. yeh..I think I know why it's your favourite Miku song!😊 Band-Maidddddddd!!!!❤❤❤❤❤
@@UltraHD.7 So, hard G like in geek, not soft G like in genius, is that correct? It's confusing for English speakers when written out like Mah - Gee, (unless you include the "gee like in geek" the way you did) because in English, "gee" (sounds like the jee in jeep) is it's own word meaning a mild exclamation of surprise or enthusiasm.
Yeah, how many bands will just play an entire album at a show? If they did, it would be a special event that was advertised ahead of time. For the maids, it's just another Friday. 😁
@@billb.5183Rush did the whole Moving Pictures album in order on their 2010 Time Machine tour. They later released just the MP part of the concert on dvd. I am not sure if it was from the Cleveland show like the whole concert dvd or from a different show. I got to see the St. Louis show on that tour.

So glad to hear they played "The one" - I was worried because the studio recording has so much going on.

Hi SJ, I went to this OQG, so I will cover the stuff u r asking and more 👍🏻
The one is the best song to me on the new album
The one & toit et moi live? Dayum!
Shambles and The One are my favorite from epic. The one had me in tears with chills. I absolutely love that song!

Welocoke back! SJ
Uriah Heep- Wake The Sleeper album 2008, played in full. But I agree. You usually get maybe 3 songs from a new album tour.
I knew someone would come up with an example. 😂
Sounds epic!. Europe / UK tour next, fingers crossed

Great move on the maids performing the entirety of Epic Narratives 🎉👏🤘🏻
Their circular stage screen with lighting totally screams a Pink Floyd influence! 😊💯

Wow! Only Alone pre-WD I think! Po! Nice to see it back tho. And no DD, no Freedom, no RE. Maids moving forward.
According to Ohrenje, "Toi et moi" is pronounced "Twah eh Mwah" I think we can trust him on that. 😁
YA, I remember that convo...lol. I thing it was Alan or GG but I did see that exchange. : )
@@maidnewsnetwork It was with Ryan Mear. They did a stream together to check out EN.
Awesome stage ¡¡¡ Pink Floyd big eye?...cool...long solo is calling Kanami...lol
You´re still pronouncing "Magie" wrong though. It´s like Mah - gee (gee like in geek). "ie" in german is pronounced like a long "ee" in english.
Moggy. Rhymes with foggy. 😁
No. Saiki pronounces it in one of her recent videos.
@@ericifune5543 I'm german, I know how it's pronounced. It's Mah - gee.
Saiki did it exactly like that when I heard her say it.
