Great video, a great university, as an alum, proud to be the first to comment. Duke is not perfect, never was, never will be. But what I sensed at Duke was a commitment to open learning opportunities, growth, and helping all community members to be the best version of themselves that they can be. From my studies as a Program II in 1975-77, to my leadership role in founding and leading the Alumni Group in Venezuela, to my current 'reserve' status participating in alumni events in Houston, I have always been struck by the sense of collaboration, not naked competition, sharing, not hiding, and enjoyment of our work and pleasure times together. Most recently, I met with fellow alums at a December 2023 meeting celebrating Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Houston where I reside. I was struck by how much we could connect; how much we could share and what ideas we could develop together. The next 100 years will be great! Lin Giralt T'77
