5 years late but can't agree on scarface murdering him, that second verse from gibbs is easily my favourite of his. Hits hard, especially hearing it from someone like him
Hands down best song on the album, still can play this on loop for a good min. Why is this song so underrated? Scarface feature is dope, instrumental goes in, this song is a classic. I really hope bandanna has another track like this man.
I think this song is fantastic and should be included in any modern black poetry discourse. The song captures so much of the desperation of the hood, as well as the environmental vices and valuelessness of life. As a result, the song offers a glimpse of a brutalized community with a sincere vision of the mindset of those black men who are caught up in the everyday hustle for survival.

bandana, the follow up to this album which is also very good in its own right, is just the second album of an alleged three-part Freddie + MadLib album trilogy. So more fire from these two to come in this decade THEY AIN'T DONE YET.

Freddie has to be top 5 for flow at least at the moment. Maybe not on this song particularly, but on High, 1985, and so many other songs his flow and breath control are crazy
