For the first time I realized how much one loses culturally and emotionally by living away from the motherland for more than three decades. What I believed this to be an interview turned out to be a stroll in the lovely memory lane, where two friends share their empathy, reminisce in a lovely ambience of the moonlit Indian night which is a unique experience in itself. Mr. Muntashir is like a many-faceted Diamond and Ms Aniruddh the light which dazzles each facet of the diamond that is Mr. Muntashir! No complaints, no recriminations, just a reflection of the beauty that is the life of a poet! Thank you both for enriching our lives with your conversation. मनोज जी आप आज के महान गीतकार है । मैं आपको अपने गांव का कवि पंडित लखमीचंद मानता हूं । पंडित लखमीचंद करीब सन् 1900 में हरियाणा में जिला सोनीपत के जांटी कलां गांव में पैदा हुए और सन् 1942 में स्वर्गवासी हो गये थे । लेकिन 42 वर्ष की उम्र में काव्य का कोई रस विधा ऐसी नहीं रही जिसका वर्णन उन्होंने नहीं किया । उस समय मंच पर उनके द्वारा महाभारत सत्यवान सावित्री इत्यादि का रागनी गाकर लाईव मंचन करते थे । उस समय मनोरंजन का बस यही एक साधन था । हरियाणा पंजाब राजस्थान और उत्तर प्रदेश में आज भी बुजुर्ग लोग उन्हें जरूर जानते हैं । वह अनपढ थे पशु चराते थे । लेकिन जब मंच पर खड़े होकर कोई लाईन बोलते थे तो वह कविता बन जाती थी । उन्हें पुर्व जन्म में इन्द्र देव के दरबार का संगीतकार भी मानते थे । ऐसी अतिशयोक्ति है । मैं आपको उनके समान मानता हूं ।

He is a classic example of how united we were as a society when people of his generation, same as mine were growing up, we never thought about religion as the only criteria for everything in life. Back then Urdu was not only a language of Muslims. We were part of a highly united society. When I compare that time & Era with today I see a completely fragmented society. It is people like Manoj who seems to be only hope for a united India 🇮🇳
Darling boy you were happy coz Muslims favours appeasement. The fault lines were always there. Only ppl kept hiding it. What was 1992 Ajmer Dargha scandals. Biggest rape case of India. In which 1000s of Hindu girls were systemically rapped and blackmailed and forced to convert! Oops that’s against the set narrative! Appeasement politics But one isolated case of a Muslim girl being raped in temple, it got so hyped both by media and politicians that entire Hindu community was blamed and shamed for it. Rapistan became synonymous to Hindustan after that. Not one Muslim condemned it rather they basked in the light of victimhood! But one this appeasement went away then came out the true face. Hindus religious rally cannot enter Muslims area or should face stone pelting. Cow slaughter and cow smuggling is so rampant that 1000s of police cow owners and BSF has suffered for it but a smuggler became victim! After independence 1946 in my town Noaikhali Hindus were butchered, raped, forced converted, shops and homes were burned! And guess what most of the perpetrators didn’t leave India. All reality and barbarism of your community does not matter to Muslims like u. But u cry India has become so communal. It was always communal only Hindus were sleeping or in coma and Muslims were doing what they always wanted to do. So pls shut up. And by Urdu was Kota language developed in the house of prostitutes ie is Harem. मनोज जी, लक्ष्मी चौराहा का नाम सुनकर, पुरानी यादें ताजा हो गईं, लक्ष्मी टाकीज़ में अनेकों बार साथियों के साथ पिक्चरें भी देखा करते, शो समाप्त के उपरान्त टाकीज़ के साइड में, तरतीवार से लगे चाय के किन्ही दूकान पर चाय के साथ बंद मख्खन खाते चुस्कियां लेते हुए, चाय की गिलास की तलछटी को निहारते हुए कि अब इसमें न के बराबर चाय बची है और साथ में बंद का कुछ हिस्सा चाय के साथ खाते समय टू ट क र उसी में सिमट सा जाता था, यह जानकार भी अब गिलास के तलछटी में नहीं रह गया कुछ शेष फिर भी इस आशा में मुंह को आकाश की ओर उठाकर, गिलास को उल्टा कर हाथ से झटकते हुए गिलास को मुंह से लगाकर जो माल-मसाला उतरता था उसे झट से सुड़क लेते थे , गिलास लकड़ी के बेंच पर रखकर । हमलोग आगे के सफर में चले जाते थे । मै रोशन लाल कैथवास मूलतः जानसेन गंज का निवासी हूं, नासिक में 1982 से हूं लेकिन वो बंद मख्खन चाय आज भी कहीं नशीब नहीं हुआ। आपके बाहुबली के सफर में जब लक्ष्मी चौराहा का जिक्र आया तो पुरानी यादें हरी हो गयी । पुरानी यादों को ताजा रखने के लिए कृपया 98 34 34 60 पर दस्तक दीजिए ।

Manoj ji ki Richaji ke sath mulakat do bar suna interest ke sath. Apane jiwan ki sukh dukh ki baten itane khule dil ke sath manoj ji ne batayi dil bag bag ho gaya. Mere nanihal ke pas ke bhi hain. Prabhu unko kamyab banayen yeh shubh kamna.

लक्ष्मी चौराहा का नाम सुनकर, पुरानी यादें ताजा हो गईं, लक्ष्मी टाकीज़ में अनेकों बार साथियों के साथ पिक्चरें भी देखा करते, शो समाप्त के उपरान्त टाकीज़ के साइड में, तरतीवार से लगे चाय के किन्ही दूकान पर चाय के साथ बंद मख्खन खाते चुस्कियां लेते हुए, चाय की गिलास की तलछटी को निहारते हुए कि अब इसमें न के बराबर चाय बची है और साथ में बंद का कुछ हिस्सा चाय के साथ खाते समय टू ट क र उसी में सिमट सा जाता था,
यह जानकार भी अब गिलास के तलछटी में नहीं रह गया कुछ शेष फिर भी इस आशा में मुंह को आकाश की ओर उठाकर, गिलास
को उल्टा कर हाथ से
झटकते हुए गिलास को मुंह से लगाकर जो माल-मसाला उतरता था उसे झट से सुड़क लेते थे , गिलास लकड़ी के बेंच पर रखकर । हमलोग आगे के सफर में चले जाते थे ।
मै रोशन लाल कैथवास मूलतः जानसेन गंज का निवासी हूं, नासिक में 1982 से हूं लेकिन वो बंद मख्खन चाय आज भी कहीं नशीब नहीं हुआ।
