  • On a cold, winters day Daniel Woolcott headed down to the beautiful Hampshire Avon in search of its big resident chub. With a roving approach in mind, Dan arms himself with a link ledger set up, allowing him to present his bait under those rafts and overhangs where a few chub should hopefully be taking refuge.
    Daniel also talks to us about his recent capture of a monster 7lb+ chub from the Thames.

    Another great video from Daniel and Drennan! Could I ask which length Acolyte Dan was using? For anyone glancing the comments who hasn't seen it - Lampard's Way with Chub is another great watch (also on Drennan's channel). Thanks!

    Great tutorial. Can I ask what sort of length of line would be recommended between the ledger stop and the hooklink?

    • @DrennanTackleTV
      @DrennanTackleTV  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Glad you enjoyed it. The hooklink is fully adjustable via the gripper/float stop and the length depended on the swim Dan was fishing. A 1-2 ft hooklink was used in most swims but in those very tight, overgrown spots he changed to a few inches to reduce the chance of clipping trees ect.
