I'm learning manual as we speak, and I've gotten pretty good at it, too, just to drive this car. The real problem I'm having is the first initial shift from neutral to first coming from a complete stop.
Just go into a parking lot and find the biting point in the clutch?
Like the other guy said, find an empty parking area. Find the biting point and apply a little bit of gas.
If you want to find out the biting point, from a complete stop, slowly bring the clutch up and you'll feel and also see the car lift a little, then apply some gas to move off or let it roll (but you shouldn't be using just the clutch to move off ideally).
Edit: I know there are a lot of driving instructors from the UK that post some of their own lessons online. If you have any trouble then I'd probably check them out.
What I do is start letting up on the clutch before touching the gas and when the car feels like its about to bog I start giving it gas to complete the transition.

10th gen way better then 11th gen the look and the feel. 11tg gen sucks
The Honda Civic Type R seats really are awesome. The cloth is super soft and the comfortable padding helps cradle you in place.
Honda would sell a lot more models if they offered an optional 10 speed automatic transmission and optional AWD. Honda has always been top of the game with smooth manual transmissions with Porsche, BMW, and Subaru.
will never happen. the type r and the si have never had an automatic transmission and they never will. the cars don’t sell that much anyways and honda doesn’t seem to mind. it’s about keeping it to its racing roots. awd might be a possibility like what they did with the nsx.
Honda wants this as a performance enthusiast car... an Automatic is the last thing they want. Not trying to make it drive like a family daily driving car.. it's about fun and excitement..
