You are getting very good at editing. I certainly enjoyed the split screen. As always, another good video
My words exactly 😊
I ❤it
I was looking to write also a comment for his improved editting skills
Great job 😮😮🎉🎉king 🤴 of collapse 😂😂😂❤❤❤❤😊😊
Great split screen!
looking forward to the next video taking out the 3rd dam on this culvert, thanks for filming these.
Man, watch your back, I hear the beavers are after you... 🦫
A metal detecting TH-camr got ass bit by a rabid beaver two summers ago.
😂
Can't get over how fast the water went down. You could see it literally dropping when the video was being filmed from the other side of the damn. Awesome!
That's because it's not far to the next dam upstream
Oh boy. That looks like an easy rebuild for the beavs!
Excellent synching of the split screen! another enjoyable show!
I’m here at the five minute mark, WOW!
You are a hard worker
I just love ❤️ watching you work a dam
Greetings from Temple, Texas, USA!
Hey I am from Killeen. 👋 😊
Very nice split screen and dam removal was excellent! 😊👍
Well done. Good, clean and thorough job. Thanks again😊😊
I can picture two angry beavers off to one side, like the gopher in 'Caddyshack,' fists raised. Beaver 1: What's with this guy, constantly tearing down our work? Beaver 2: From what I've read, it's an OCD thing. Beaver 1: Ohhhh, you mean like our building them?
Intelligent joke😂.
So, I jump ship in Thailand and make my way over to Tibet and get myself on as a looper over there.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@vectorm4🤯🤨😑😑😑🤣🤣🤣🤣
It's CDO. That way the letters are in the correct dang order!
Great job! Thank you for sharing this with us!👍🏽😊❤️🇺🇸
Dam its so cool dam busting the dam.
The split screen was awesome. Perfectly synchronised between the two cameras, you did a great job with the editing. Another huge drop in water level, it always surprises me as to how much water a fairly small dam can hold back.
Split screen in beginning is great! Very nice! Have to get the other one too! Thank you🫶✌🏼
That was deeper than it looked! Thank you!
The whole Dam thing.
Another one bites the dust lol...well done❤
No problem with the water backing up downstream of the dam. Another great job by the king if beaver dam removal.👍👍
Mantas great video. Fast work on this beaver dam. Have a wonderful weekend, till you're next video. 🎅🤶☃️🥰💞❤❤❤.
Another great dam destruction and video..thank you…

Well it was a nice little pond, all flushed away.
Do the beavers put mud and stones into the dam ? Seven degrees, sunny and bit of cloud ! 😁🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

Hello Mantas 🦘❤️❤️❤️
Howdy folks
100K WTG
Those Beavers have been making a lot of progress in helping you make your videos two 👍👍 up for those sneaky little #%!*&@. Love to watch you tear them down 👍👍👍.
Thanks Kenny (can we call you Kenny?) For another great video. Question- after removing a dam that the beavers have rebuilt many times, what if you laid several 4 inch (100mm) pvc pipes, 10 ft long (about 3.5 meters) in the water where the dam used to be. If the beavers attempted to rebuild over it, would the pipes keep the water from rising up, or would the beavers be smart enough to plug the upstream end of the pipes??
Also, how long does each removal take?
His first name is Mantas.
I believe that has been tried elsewhere they found the ends of the pipes & blocked them 🤣
Depends on the specific situation if such `beaver deceiver´ works as intended in a ditch (!). Generally, beavers simply want / need to achieve minimum height. This especially applies if they have tunnels to their lodges in the banks of the ditches which they need to keep under water always.
So if they don’t get their desired level, they will simply try to `circumvent´ such pipes. Either by clogging them, or simply build another dam upstream or downstream.
However, in case the retained water table stays at a level where both beavers are happy and drainage / reclamation pipes from the fields are still above the water table (else they will not really drain if no flow in the ditch due to a dam), such a spillway can help to prevent further significant increase of level when following some considerations:
Like you’ve suggested, use pipes which are long enough. Intake needs to be 2 - 3 m / 7 -10 ft in front of the dam. Build cage using wire mesh with sufficient distance around the intake to prevent beavers from clogging it. Diameter of pipes needs to fit to the desired draining. Better use 2 or 3 pipes in parallel to make sure there’s not too strong eddying which the beavers would recognise. I’ve supported such an activity in my community with some `fine tuning´ and slightly modified the individual height of the parallel inlets by using angled / elbow pipes, also twisted them such that incoming water flow further spreads within larger circle. Also take care of the outlets, which need to be few metres / feet away from the dam again, too. If rushing water creates much noise, it triggers beavers to build another dam downstream to slow it down - no kidding but fact. The trick to be applied: make sure the outlets of the pipes are under water, too. If level downstream is not deep enough, use another angled / elbow pipes with their outlets facing towards ground. Due to the power of water, this will soon create a small pool with side-walls which helps to keep the outlets under water. Plus it reduces speed of water a bit due to loss of energy when going round several curves here. Works pretty nice in the specific situation in my area. You can make beavers happy when applying some of their rules and make it appear like being natural.
Post 10 has some nice video where he explains situation more typical for wilderness where beavers create pond or even lake by simply clogging a culvert. To be fair, that’s also where I’ve learned some of the basic things mentioned above, and modified for some further improvement. Same rules apply for the intake. However, the outlet can simply be inside the culvert, since beavers will typically just clog the frontside of the culvert (as long as water level is OK for them).
4 minutes and already 30 likes

Down stream camera's are the best
I saw that big bubble
Beavers really don't like you! 🤣🤣 Cool vids mate.
👍🌟❤🙏👏
You should get a bicycle handle bar grip and put it on your rake handle it would give a better grip.
The water did drop fast!
The beaver needs to show up and protest lol
This clip has amazing wide stereo listen to it with your eyes closed, wearing nheadphones at about three minutes from the start
Very good work synchronizing the two camera views. It must have taken some time in the editing......................Jay
that drained rather quickly
Those pesky beavers. The beaver conservation movement must be strong in Lithuania. They work at saving them here. But as you say you’re trying to move them to natural streams. Keep up the effort.
I VOTE SPLIT SCREENS!!! ❤❤ Hit the Like button if you agree 👍🏽
Serious question - you only open the dam a certain amount - why do you not take down more of the side walls of the dam?
i want this guy to become famous. i have so many questions - how big is the area where you find all of these dams, is it something unique to your location? your wife seems lovely and your English is getting noticibly-better.. have you guys been watching American TV shows?
Liquifaction happens during earthquakes. It must be possible to provoke in small scale with some motorised vibrating device.
These culverts look quite narrow, where are the lodges?
Like the split screens👍
That one went quick, water pretty cold?
I love the split screen !! Is this the channel that the reed island goes floating by ?
