I’m sure that Mimi and Alex have taken taxis and bought umbrellas many times in their life. Yet when they are old they will not remember any one taxi ride or umbrella they bought. However, I am sure they will remember this day when Alex, in an act of chivalry, took his shirt off to save Mimi’s hair from the rain. Some of the best meaningful experiences and memories have nothing to do with spending money.

Its great to have success in life and to travel - all good but we all end up feeling a bit empty doing that after a while. We all have a purpose a reason for which we were created and until we find that we are never truely satisfied xx
are you implying they havent found their purpose/arent on their way? we see a very small portion of their life.....their travels, work....not the hardships or struggles or problems, imperfections, flaws that come with everyone's lives.....im sure it's not an empty life if they're so happy n having so much fun! success is amazing and that in itself can be a life's purpose (i know it is one of mine as well as travel), as well as travelling the world!

I went to New York for the first time last month and because of flight cancellation & delays only got 1 full day out of 4 I had planned but that’s all it took! I LOVE New York. Luckily we got flight vouchers and will be going back in 2 weeks only will be there for a day but we are gonna save up and be there 3-4 days so we can see & live more of that amazing city! It really has its charm. I’m from San Francisco and I don’t travel much but the few places I frequent while they might be lovely they just don’t compare to my city by the bay...that is until I went to New York! ❤️ thanks for sharing this trip!
