My 13 year old dog suddenly developed a horrible smell , also started losing hair despite no diagnosis. Thanks to you you tube- I washed him with selsum blue shampoo and with just one bath eliminated the order. I realize I will probably have to repeat, but this is a major step. Thank so much

If so when would I apply it, before or after the summers eve? And I know in another video you recommended Sun guard conditioner but are the tropiclean conditioner as good as the shampoos?

You don’t need to go to these extremes. Bath and be sure to condition him every 2 weeks. Don’t forget to brush him when he is dry. This will change everything for you.

@@GoGroomer thank you for replying. I have a frenchy and he has yeast on his belly and he has flacks of dead skin all over his body. I feel so bad so him and the vet cant seem to sove the problem. Hes on the ProPlan Veterinary diet (HA Hydrolyzed) dog food and it helps some what. Also can you recommend a great dog food that has over all good nutrition for dogs. I'm so sorry I'm asking for so much but your information seems to be better then the vets lol. Oh and I also started to apply coconut oil on his body and you can see the yeast left up. I just want to rid of it completely.
@@laporsche3306 I had a Frenchie too! Love the breed and yes, they tend to develop skin problems because they are a short haired breed with dense-wrinkly skin. My honest, best advice to help with this issue is to use Chlorhexidine medicated shampoo (can purchase from Amazon) and diet. Instructions for use is on the (shampoo) bottle.Those two things combined will fix the problem. I included a link to a video I made recently that talks about how diet can benefit your pet and in the description of that video are links to a better Kibble (the kibble I feed my dog when I give him kibble) and the shampoo. I am definitely gonna try this! I have a 14 month old, 80 lb, golden retriever. Zeke, smells horrible. Even after I pick him up from the groomer. Vet says he’s fine. I saw a video where a Vet recommended using Selsun Blue dandruff shampoo. I haven’t tried that yet. Zeke also sheds enough to make a rug a month! I’m going to the store tomorrow to get the summers eve. I am so glad I found you! I’m old and have a lot of health problems, but I will do anything to make him smell better. My lovely schnauzer chihuahua puppy, he gets a very stinky odor and it spreads all over the house.. so potent and it makes everyone so uncomfortable. I am heading to the store to buy the summers eve stuff. I really hope it works because idk what else to try.

I’m sensitive to fragrance. I get horrible migraines from flowery smells . Fruity and foody scents are ok for me usually. Can you possibly describe the scent of the Odor Terminator you recommended? I will try all the others too . Good idea 😊
I have a 7 yr old pitbull and his teeth are as.clean as the day he was born. Guve him only his dog food milk bones and raw beef knuckles thats it. But he got skunked again and this time got it in his mouth. Tried brushing but didn't really work. Any other suggestions.

I recommend bathing every 4-6 weeks. Weekly brush-outs keep the skin and coat in great shape.

Hi I have Basset Hound I tried everything but doesn’t work a couple days after cleaned start to smell to bad, I celan my self all kind of products and different grooming buy nothing I try to clean him 45 days or more for no damage his skin, I have to live to his smell for 50 days :(

What is the best way to get rid of smell of throw up smell from my dogs face? I’ve washed her beard (the best I could at the the time with the dog shampoo) and tried to brush her teeth. She is very good with the professionals, but she squirms all over with me! I just watch a video an animal Dr also recommend Selsun Blue (dandruff shampoo) he stated it works and keep your pets smell good.
The thing to watch is PH balance. Human products have a higher PH level for human skin which is thicker than a dogs skin. I would dilute it with water and be certain to follow it up with a pet safe conditioner. The conditioner will balance the skin and not leave it dry and itchy from the shampoo.

Thank you for making this video, I just took over this 10 mo old Labradoodle but she stunk bad. This morning I tried 2 douches (8 small bottles) and she was smelling better. Well it's been about 10hrs now and I feel like she's starting to stink again. Can I do this back to back days?

I would brush him every day and give him some sort of allergy relief if he starts getting allergies.

Condition her after every shampoo, very important! It balances the skin and natural oils and will prevent and over production of oils due to the shampoo stripping it completely.

Nazzy Nazzy corn starch will absorb the moisture and help neutralize the odor between bathing. Keep the sanitary area trimmed short with a #10 blade will also help keep her from becoming sore and irritated from the urine. I hope this helps💕

Do you know of a product to spray on my dog daily? Every time he goes outside, even if it's just for 10 minutes, he comes in and smells HORRENDOUS!!! He can have a bath in the morning and that same day all it takes is 5-10 minutes outside and he comes in stinking up the house. I've never experienced such a strong smell on a clean dog. Smells like a wet/dirty mop.
Are you using a good conditioner every time you bath him? It balances the natural oils he produces.

Yes! I'm wowed at your knowledge and delivery. Just adopted a German Shepherd mix and she still has this... well... "smell" after her 1st bath (took courage on both our parts) and trying to figure that out.

How do u use a female duche to wash ur dog obviously not a female or seen one but never new they were just a liquid thought they were something else
You apply it to the coat dry and let it sit for about 5 minutes then shampoo and wash as normal:)
