Carnos are always one of my favorite early game tames they are very useful in surviving arks fun moments ! Glad they got the gold boom medal !

The carno imo is the easiest dino to use to clear the bosses. For the island bosses you do need to pair them with a couple stegos to pull agro. When you compare the amount of effort it takes to use rex or theris and grind good saddles, tons of veggie cakes, or primitive saddles and just veggie cakes for 3 or 4 stegos, the carno method is just waaaay easier. Also consider how easy it is to find carnos rather than theris.
