Shame on the people who say Kaliyuga is a child and lakhs of years remaining. If this is not the peak of Kaliyuga then what is? Such heinous things happening in open. Thousands of such cases happening everyday. And people still say lakhs of years remaining for Kaliyuga end! Grow up guys! Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu's panch sakhas wrote 600 years back that due to human sins, Kaliyuga will end after 5000 years and by 2032 will be complete satyug in the world. We are at peak and in few years there will be so much destruction that only 64 crores will remain allover the world. Those will be the ones who pick the path of kindness, truth, love and forgiveness. The rest will end one or another way.

Kaliyug is a time period of 4,32,000 years in which Approx 5500 years are finished , there are remaning 4,28,000 (approx) years left. About Golden Period , When a Yug End and other yug start their is a time period in which Both Yog qualities present, As for Kaliyug the golden period is of 10,000 years from which approx 5500 years were finished , So when you talking about that kaliyug will end after 5000 years that will about end of Golden Period Of Kaliyug About Golden Period of Kaliyug, we can see that people doing deity worship(it is a quality of Dwaparyug) and when the golden period of kaliyug will end the deity worship is almost at end because of Kaliyug and when golden period end all the consciousness of god in the deity will go back to their original form.
