I love hearing percentages that sound extreme like 50%. I think I found the study she was referring to because that 50% is 410k women getting abortions whilst taking contraception out of 37 million women that use contraception. Less than 1% of women taking contraception fell pregnant. Never just accept percentages

Wouldnt the fact that people usually use contraception to avoid pregnancies also make the stats skew?

Sex releases oxytocin and other hormones which literally makes you feel more connected bonded to the person that you are having sex with. So the more meaningless sex you have, the more meaningless those hormones become and that's how you lose you ability to connect with people through sex. Thus losing the meaning of sex in your romantic life which causes you to seek sex elsewhere or makes you feel less guilty of seeking sex outside of marriage which definitely causes problems. Just look at his own "open marriage" for example. So no, sex is not like getting a massage or seeking therapy, It is literally the ultimate form of intimacy. All these degeneration will make the ultimate form of intimacy lose it's value which often causes problems. No wonder why people feel so disconnected even though we have social media etc.

    • @Macheako

If they are the same then I should be charged by the police the EXACT same regardless if I’m forcefully taking sex or forcefully giving someone a massage 😂❤

Kinda odd you would use that against destiny's argument. If oxytocin was released during the other things, don't you believe that would invalidate your issue? which is hilarious since the general medical consensus indicates increased oxytocin production from massage as one of the best examples of activating that hormone LMAO

Some people just have a higher sex drive. And they might prefer to have sex over masturbating. Do you have the same sentiment for people who don't have sex, but are chronic masturbators and watch porn to release their sexual frustrations? Our body releases oxytocin BUT also produces testosterone which gives the reproductive urge & sexual needs in the first place.
Also, there are some people who simply can't find or aren't interested in love & marriage. You cannot tell an ugly/disabled/broke person who cannot find or afford to get married to remain a virgin till they die. The main reason why incels are bitter and angry is because of pent up sexual frustration (caused by either self-imposed restriction, or involuntary). These hormones then get directed to rage. Restriction often leads to obsession. Way too much emphasis is put on s3x leading to mental pressure among both girls & guys.

@@caps900"some people just have a higher sex drive. And prefer to have sex over masterbating". A higher sex drive doesn't change the effects of casual sex it's like having a Passion for a sport you play but you can't keep playing it over and over for long periods of time or you'll get tired."do you have the same sentiment for people who are chronic masturbators and watch porn to release their frustration". You need to take into account that watching porn doesn't have the same effects as sex because sexual intimacy is usually done with two partners which is what gives it the "intimacy" part but when it comes to masterbation it's nothing but a short term self pleasure we see this in the levels of prolactin(the hormone responsible for satisfaction) after ejaculation in each one where in masterbation the levels of prolactin are way lower than in sex which is why a lot of people feel like shit afterwards. "Our body releases oxytocin BUT also produces testosterone which gives the reproductive urge & sexual needs in the first place". you're right casual sex doesn't affect your urge for sex but the main argument is that it alters the way you view it in which it makes up you "num" to it sex for the first time is a rush of emotion and excitement sex for the hundredth time is, well "casual" sex especially if you're doing it many times consistently then it becomes boring. "Also, there are people who simply can't find or aren't interested in love & marriage. You cannot tell an ugly/disabled/broke person who cannot find or afford to get married to remain a virgin till they die". Again we go back to the same point that masterbation and sex are two different things one is used as a drug for short term self pleasure and stress relief the other is a long term self pleasure and an intimate moment with someone you love this all really boils down to not wanting to be alone and yes you can tell a ugly/disabled/broke person that they'll die a virgin it's why they'll just resort to masterbation for pleasure the problem with your whole argument is that it ignores the difference between sex and masterbation what do you think people imagine when they're masterbating the action of masterbation stems from the desire of sex which sucks because it's not the same.

    • @Uhdksurvhunter
      @Uhdksurvhunter หลายเดือนก่อน

False. Yes you release hormones, but you dont have a finite amount of them. You bond with people, you fight with people. Then you bond with new people.
Its like saying because you have hundreds of friends, you cant have a best friend, or a few really good friends.
Someone that has had hundreds of previous partners can love their significant other just as much as anyone else.
As for why people feel disconnected, and especially in open marriages, is most likely due to a myriad of other factors.

This entire discussion is about ethics
Arguing that doing X is Good or Bad or neutral is to argue about ethics
This is why people will talk past each other in these debates if they don't agree on the definition of "Good" and "Evil"

honestly, Destiny is a perfect example of what's wrong with the current state of dating and relationships. to condone sex work as some healthy way to have friends or acquaintances and treat sleeping around with as many people as possible as just a recreational sport between 2 consenting adults, is just proof that he is missing the bigger picture. its clear that he doesn't mind having a ragged out partner who sleeps with others more than him but he refuses to admit that he is just a wallet to her. but those people who understand the cons of living that way and the damage it does to the chances of a good healthy relationship with a woman that bears any value to a good solid man, would listen to his rants and dry heave. if you can sit back and look at abortion as a method of birth control, then you need a therapist. this guy is simply just poison to anyone unfortunate enough to be in listening distance of his voice

Except he sleeps with more people than his wife who has her own money by doing basically the same thing. They both agreed to that kind of relationship. Their relationship is falling apart for the same reason any other relationship would fall apart, differing views and loss of trust.
The current issue with dating and relationships is both sides are refusing to mature and be responsible for themselves and expecting their partner to take care of them.
Abortion as a method of birth control can be very problematic for many reasons. I dont think much of anyone who get an abortion use it as an initial method of birth control but as a secondary option when the initial method fails. Its far easier to use all the other options than to get an abortion.

People like you are basically are self reporting that you have a low sex drive or suffer from sexual aversion disorder. This colours how you see the world and ultimately brings on resentment because you feel left out from most of the world. This is a "you" problem.

@chpgmr1372 that's extremely doubtful considering the way he just got blown up about the fact that she's leaving him for her Swedish boyfriend. You sound naive is all get out thinking this guy would ever do anything but lie about how much ass he gets, if he really got it he wouldn't be putting himself in that situation to begin with unless he was mentally ill or a liar

@@rockylindgren5885 Well they both sometimes talk about their open relationship and dont try to hide it and its been a very long time with no one saying otherwise but I guess we can wait and see if she says otherwise after the divorce.
And he most likely is in this situation because he gets around so much and she seems to have lately decided to not want to continue that lifestyle. He doesnt really talk about how much ass he gets other than using it as an argument against the red pillers.
He has gotten "blown up" because he has a history of being an asshole and making more enemies than friends. He still struggles with not being an asshole often.

The problem with Destiny is that he is smart and eloquent enough to make any terrible idea sound logical. He is often right, according to me, but when he is wrong he will argue to the end of the world.

Not really. I see him being willing to admit he doesn't know everything about a subject or to be corrected a lot more than most people who debate. He'll actually listen to what the other person is saying instead of always just seeing it as waiting to make his next point.
