The logical thing is if, as this lady says, ninety percent of the people who travel to Manhattan to work use public transportation, then those ninety percent are the ones who should pay for that tax to improve a service that suits them and not ten percent. remaining percent that do not use the train service.

It is not pleasant for me or my neighbors in Queens to pay an extra $300 a month in taxes for a service from which we do not benefit.

Does anyone care about the opinion of New Yorkers? 64% said no to congestion pricing.

I know the "Broadway Junction" area very well and I can tell you with complete confidence that the people showing this video do not represent that area of Brooklyn in the slightest, neither racially nor economically.

Why should people who don't use the public transportation system pay for something they don't use? If they need money to mend the train system, let its users or the city's business owners pay for it.

@@Urban_Man why do we, residents of Brooklyn / Queens who drive to Manhattan 5 days a week should pay 300 dollars a month ?

@@williambarnard4710 if you switch to public transit, you won't need to pay it, and you will benefit from it, the money will be used to improve public transit. If you still want to drive, you will have faster commutes, less time stuck in traffic since their will be less cars.
