thanks so much. It shows me that they were getting along good at the end of season 2, so it made no sense why the writers couldn't give them more scenes together
The reason why is because in Season 2 they were intentionally kept apart and given separate love interests because they saw the actors chemistry from the very beginning especially after the snail hunting episode and didn't want the fans to experience it too soon! They always intended on putting the characters together but they didn't want to do it too soon in the series and felt like they needed to develop the characters individually first! The plan was to put them together cause angst and drama for Dawson/Joey and Pacey and then reunite Dawson/Joey in the end as endgame soulmates however the Pacey/Joey pairing was a huge ratings success and took on a life of its own forever changing the trajectory of the show!

But I always felt like Dawson and Joey just look and act much better as friends, However so far I prefer Pacey and Andie together, I'm sad they got rid of her. But I suppose they were so in love that the plot would have just been them in love for 3 more seasons which would have got old.

Katie has stated that Joshua was her first love and Joshua has stated that when they broke up, Season 3 was very difficult for him to shoot with her. They maintained professionalism but season 3 was very awkward and tough for them to get through. Eventually they became friends but they never got back together after they broke up. However, they're still friends to this day.

I could be wrong but that's what I've always heard, don't think they were together for a full 2 years

Dawson un personaje claramente inmaduro..en veces timido....que a pesar de tener sus padres en adolecencia..no hay una orientacion..por parte de sus padres,,que se deja envolver por lo que ve en las peliculas..mas eso sucede con las personas ignorantes,en su totalidad...yo vivo en la rep mexicana...tengo contacto con personas de centro y sudamerica,,y ,me comentan cosas increibles de mi tierra por lo que ven en la television o peliculas mexicanas,,mas son personas que solo tienen primaria que creen que lo que ven en la telenovelas y peliculas es realidad..vi totalmente la serie,,para mi fuera de toda logica...ya que uno como hombre amas con locura una mujer..se presenta la oportunidad de una reconciliacion..la perdonas,,,te vas a vivir con ella le pides que se case contigo..si tienes miedo..a volvercon esa mujer..que te hizo tanto daño en definitiva te alejas..en el caso de Dawson joey.. Dawson y la hermana de Pacey..no lo piensas dos veces te fugas con ella.la buscas....para mi no me gusto la historia del escritor..ya que en resumen,a Dawson lo pone como un chico que es un idiota..la vida le da oportunidades y las rechaza...dicho a lo mexicano que es un PENDEJO..tan tan
Tienes una mentalidad muy limitada, volvé a ver la serie y capaz reproduscas otras conclusiones, para esa época los actores eran muy interesantes, inteligentes y muy liberales con sus posturas y decisiones, con sus distintos personajes y distintas escencia. La trama deja un mensaje muy específico el cual no entendiste.
