Some details missing here. It works the same way for both hunter trap and poly. You get in combat when you do either and you need to be the FIRST person crossing then the party crosses behind you. Then you invis or feign death and the pack will not aggro after the cc ends. If you are not first another party member will be in combat and pull, if you do not invis/fd you will be in combat and pull.
@@GSol17 Aye indeed. If you invis before others are in range, combat will jump to the nearest person. Which is why you wait until the party is across and ready to pull the 4 mob pack.
If you're playing solo, mage is a lot more fun. You're more desired in groups and generally bring more to a PUG group currently. In terms of fun to play, it's subjective.. I prefer shadow because I enjoy the DoT playstyle but if you prefer fast and explosive it's definitely fire!
is a nice build ST is just so bad tho they need to rework the fire tree so we can take hypothermia with living bomb somehow
Hunter trap is just as iffy as sheep when it comes to randomly getting into combat with em 😂
When you poly it'll put you in combat, get the group across and then greater invis to drop combat.

On the first pull you should stand in melee so the dudes dont drop a bleed on you. your healer will thank you. :)
Is this more dmg than the ”normal” build or close to equal?
It's close in some dungeons, like ones with lots of mass aoe
I’ve never played Fire or
mage and it looks so fun. How would you compare it Shadow in terms of fun and difficulty? I’m considering levelling one.
