Watching that Phillies team slowly get built from around 2001 to 2008 was the best sports experience I've ever had and ever will have. It wasn't just that they were great in the latter part of the decade but the way the parts were slowly assembled and the way they kept making good decisions. The 2000's Phillies were a lot of fun to watch and follow.
this was the glory days of the philllies, legends! we do not have a lot of championships here in philly, so this team that almost went back-to-back is our best ever in my opinion. Who can beat Rollins to Utley to Howard, with Hamels on the mound!?
I really enjoy this game for Cliff Lee. It’s in my top three of all time to be honest. I enjoyed game 3 of the 2010 ALCS as well He could do anything he wanted to the evil empire on those nights. Yankees get aggravating to say the minimum

Cole wasn't the same guy in this series, or this 2009 season not the shut down pitcher he was in 2008, which I thought was the difference and why the Phillies needed Cliff Lee so desperately. Plus the Phillies won to fast and had too long of a lay-off before this World Series, and the 2009 Yankees were just to strong, That's just one man's opinion...
Will be back if not next year then the year after when we get rid of the big contracts we can become this team agin Alex Rodriguez and cc sabitha need one more ring
Man we need to get rid of all the veterans and bring up some of these young players from our farm team and we need a 3rd baseman and a whole need pitching lineup besides the closers we need pitching 3rd baseman and we got a good team
The White Sox are trying to trade with the Yankees. I heard the Yankees want Quintana and Robertson to bolster Betances and Chapman. Quintana will be a yankee for 4 years and David for 2 more years. The Sox in return want Torres and Frazier. Seems like a decent deal as the Yankees would still have Mateo and other prospects.
Yankees would demolish the current Phillies. If they were to have gone to this years World Series, Phillies would've not have stood a chance to win atleast 1 game, it would've been a 4 straight game sweep Yankees win.
