Don’t forget to square the nock end also! I heard a pro (Levi Morgan maybe) say that a square nock connection is more important than a square insert connection. 🤷🏼♂️
I picked up a half dozen Victory VAP SS shafts to try out recently and noticed that insert tuning is MUCH more necessary with outserts than regular flush inserts like my VF TKOs have. Interested to see how they fly broadheads at long range.
@@thehuntingchallenge thanks man i am going to build my first 12 arrows and got to thinking shooting all 12 heads down range would Put wear on them and didn’t know if using one for all the tuning would throw anything off
@@thehuntingchallenge no doubt. I am going to do the whole process. I have seen alot of conflicting videos on broadhead tuning though! I guess i will cross that bridge when i get there! Will be my first season using fixed blades and heavy set up
great job again, very helpful information
Crabby Bill thank you. How’s that cabin coming?
@@thehuntingchallenge very good, plumbing and electric. Start tomorrow

Mossy Back that makes sense. I’ll be sure to do it 👍🏼. Thanks man

do you set them nock straight up to cure?
You keep turning the nock until the arrow flys the way you want. Quarter turn, shot (repeat)
Do you use the same broad head when shooting into the target? Or are you sending 12 different broadheads down range?
I use the same broadhead on each arrow. Taking off the broadhead every time sucks but trying to be as consistent as possible is the goal.

@@lancewoody6294 you should also consider broadhead tuning as well 👍🏼. It’s a long tedious process but worth it.

Just copying things that certain channels have been teaching for a long time.
Thanks for watching.
