I am nearly 50yrs old,& stopped playing games a long time ago until I was my son playing BF1 a few years back Ive been playing that game & enjoy it. But playing BF5 I struggled to stay on top & made too many basic errors & getting outplayed everytime. I shyed away from it because of that,but with your little & enlightening input,I'll go back & give it a go again👍 PS even tho BF1 has a lot of things that'll make you lose it,I still enjoy the maps,it's atmosphere,the sound when you kill someone & the awesome music! i play better solo than with a squad. People are useless out there on the battlefield. Constantly find myself getting salty at stacked squads but I have to force myself to remind myself that I chose this life. I could be in a tryhard squad too but then i don't get as many cool 'get fukt noobzzzz' moments. I would like to get better at teamplay. It is clearly an area I lack in due to playing alone so much.
I can personally confirm most of these point as I got good at battlefield just because I didnt have friends that wanted to play with me so I was left alone + I had pretty good aim, as I played lots of csgo and other heavily aim dependent games
This is why I record a lot of my game time because I hit a clip or whatever, when you watch it back you can see more than you did at the time, its a wierd thing to notice. Also I completely agree with changing your loadout/class to better suit the situation I do this a lot and why I have roughly equal playtime with each one (bar my main class support). It is hard to notice your mistakes in the moment. but great video Enders!
5:55 omg, exactly.... I mean someone maybe care that this game runs on 4k 40-55 fps, but no one do benchmark on how many frames you can milk out of that game on playable visuals, or for 1080p in general. I had same idea many times, you know do like "presset" settings thing. Where you optimize game for idk 60, 90, 120, 144, 200 fps and show what settings you need to have to achieve that target framerate, max out nonsensly everything on 4k, can do every monkey. I have to laugh on some videos where they showing that it runs on really unstable 40-50 fps with everything on ultra... But no one actually would play like that, whats the point of these videos.
I'm a Conquest focused console player. I tend to favour dropping back to secure rear objectives rather than the general mentality of applying pressure on the enemy backline. Hence often I shy from my team Zerging together. So often I find myself trying to solo retake flags. So a key point in my bad decisions tends to be knowing when to press an objective and when to step back, take a strong position and deal with the enemies coming off the flag. **I always try to analyse better players' clips on whether they hit an objective hard for the take OR treat it as a situation that offers kills rather than 'running simulator' from flag to flag around the map.** Hope this makes sense lol
Well you play so good i hope one day i approach your level sometimes i fell frustrated .. i focus so much on the keyboard and forget about the mouse ..maybe i need more time to brain memory the whole process.. my mistake is concentrating on my movement and not paying attention to my aim and i feel a gap 😔

Little constructive criticism about the video, your points are kinda all over the place and even tho the title says the #1 thing, you talked about lots of stuff without really going into depth about anything, even to record oneself is kinda vague, I would advice to get a script for those kind of videos to be sure to hit everything and not swim around the subject, it was kind of confusing, but the subject is important in FPS games so thank you for covering it the best you can :)
Ye this was literally just a 1 take random video I decided to make at 2 am. I do make clear what the #1 thing is though, which was forcing yourself to focus on individual gameplay and identifying mistakes

It’s hard to believe someone can be this good at aiming without some assist, I know if your playing all the time you will get good but this is almost unbelievable.
I personaly think that putting in TIME is key. I have been sniping for 7 years now, day in day out. Focussing on Sniper gameplay. grind, learn, fail and have fun getting good!

my issue is my pc lags whenever i'm about to shoot someone and i cant get consistent 144 fps. Otherwise i'm a above average player

I dont use aim trainers. The best way to have good aim is to play the game you want good aim in, but aim trainers can help
