How does one keep both Strike and Technical artes, like having both Psi Tempest and Omega Tempest, rather than choosing between the two arte branches (or forgetting artes in one branch and using the 50+ usage base arte, like Tempest Strike, while the opposite side of the S.T. meter is full) for each one? Or is that like a mod or cheat; including being able to do 1v1 against bosses without needing to have your teammates' HP at zero before the battle or get KO'd after the battle started?
This was a loooong time ago but I believe I did have every technique unlocked using a save editor, you can also use the save editor to remove/add party members at any point in the game (this includes adding Kratos back to your party after he leaves). I would like to clarify me having both versions of tempest/all techs did not cheese the fight, when I used Omega Tempest to dodge Meteor Storm I could just as easily dodged it with Psi Tempest, I was just showing off idk why lol.
Yeah, as far as I am aware some enemies have shorter stagger time than others, so for abyssion the timing has gotta be pretty good, I haven't played the game in god knows how long so can't give you a 100% answer, but I am sure it's timing.
@@harry3life I'm not sure if it's intended. They could have removed it from the game when they several times now with all the new releases of the game like they did spell canceling but they never did. But honestly it's Hella fun to do and super difficult. If you try using this technique on mania it doesn't make the game easier
@@derekderekison3241 Spell cancelling works fine on the newer release. It's a bit harder due to switching from 60fps to 30fps but it wasn't an intented change by an means.
@@harry3life spell canceling only works on spells you have usage on. For most spells you need 999 usage for it to cancel quick. They literally changed because in the early version you could spell cancel any spell regardless of usage

How is your demon fang making the enemy get right back up after a knockdown? Mine isn’t doing that, does it have something to do with timing?

totally cheesed this fight with that continue stagger glitch and gel spam. I'd like to see a real 1v1. No glitches no items.
It's not a glitch its a game mechanic. Demon fang photon and absolute all have to mechanic of popping up downed enemies
@@derekderekison3241 It's definitely not intended. The attacks that down an enemy are all obvious combo finishers.
