I'm planning a full scarify, aeration and level in the Autumn. I'm really enjoying doing it and the results are far better and cheaper than the lawn greening franchise I'd used before who were supposed to do this for me. I can't recommend your channel highly enough!!
Can I ask what weed killer you’re using ?? I’ve just moved into a house with a massive garden and at first glance the garden looks really good but there’s not much grass but just clovers and other weeds. I’ve seen so many options I just don’t what to use. Thanks for any help
Hi shaun ive been scarified aeriated and miracle gro 4 in 1 back in may and been cutting the lawn 2 to 3 times a week and was going to reseed end of august ..problem is ive loads of weeds coming thro (purple headed ones with a ropey ivy nature) main one what can i do to get rid of these? Any help very well appreciated keep up the good videos
Hi Shaun. You timed this video just perfectly 👌 as we bought some Weedol For Lawns liquid weedkiller, only yesterday, for the first time. We hope it works. We usually have a lawn treatment company, but they haven't been as good as usual as of late. Therefore, we bought a new 12 litre sprayer also, to keep separately from the sprayer we use for Emerald Green and seaweed. Are we likely to get close to the same result? 🤔 Also what fertiliser can be used at the same time as weedkiller please? Do you recommend granular or liquid. Many thanks. Xx
Hi any fert is fine. Liquids don't last more than a couple of weeks whereas granular will last at least double... Don't spray if it's windy.. Try with just water first and I wouldn't let the edge of the spray get any closer than about 6 to 8 inches from any plants or shrubs 😊

It was very handy to see this Shaun as fertilising a lawn and spraying are hard to get the hang off initially when getting into lawncare. I’ve just fertilised mine how long should I wait to mow again. (Granular feed)

Hi they're all useful to be honest. I use commercial ones that need a spray license but you can use weedol for lawns or resolva extra for lawns

good stuff 👍 finding red clover pretty stubborn at the moment.
Hmm.. It should go easily. Make sure you've got a fine mist through the nozzle.. I use a red dt2.0
