@@mrnmister It's so fascinating to me that that random, "gangster", from such an iconic, "short promotional film", was so unknown by at least me and dare I say with all due respect the rest of the public played such an integral part of pop culture. I find it interesting as well that the other dancer he fought in it with died and no one has really acknowledged that before that I know about.
Luckily I'm old enough to have seen MJ live in concert. His precision and the level of energy while he was dancing was just amazing, it hit you, was so overwhelming people fainted. Those memories give me goosebumps, too, til this day.
A true legend + a great guy! Funny... strange... just straight-up incredible... that he worked simultaneously with MJ + Madonna for all those years, and created some of the greatest pop visuals of all time! Thanks very much for this 😀
He really has an enduring personality and really cool awareness about things other than just being self centered. Fascinating.
an incredible man. be sure to watch part 2!

@@mrnmister It's funny and weird seeing so much personality from a muted dancing gangster who had no dialogue in, "Beat It', lol.

"Sooner Or Later" at the Oscars isn't discussed enough.
Especially because of the mic and earring incidents!
It deserves its own episode!
you're right! such a legendary performance. we discuss it in episode 2 - the madonna episode
