All of the scenes was genius. That girl was one great casting for this movie from what I see. This looks like more fun than the new "Nosferatu" coming out.
@@ReligionOfSacrifice I think Nosferatu will be a great movie too. Maybe less surprising than this one. This trailer is really well made showing not too much and installing a very dark atmosphere.
@@ArtKO171, creepy is "Red Dragon" because people giving all the footage of their home and them living in their home offering a serial killer a first hand look on where he is about to go and slay people could happen. "Nosferatu" I'm sure for 1922 was scary as hell in a quiet theatre as a silent movie and when the girls screamed I'm sure it added to the ambiance. The new one coming out looks good, but will it meet the same level of creepy or will talking take away the power of the devil or vampire? We shall see. Bela Lugosi made the accent become the definition of the foreigner who cannot be trusted in his own land, own home, or in yours. So what does "The Damned" have going for it? It isn't a sequel or remake. It has loss in harsh areas. People not wishing to help like a "Friday the 13th" signal of here are the victims who deserve this. The sea with unknown capable of entering the bodies. The question of whether this is a phenomenon or the supernatural. Finally, with people talking in different ways you have to worry if the whole thing is someone else giving retribution. The possibilities of where the mind can take it are limitless. "Nosferatu" cannot give you that.
This looks like a perfect post-Christmas, "winter doldrums" movie, best enjoyed on those frigid, dreary January/February nights. Aka, not Halloween material.
Horror movies where the monster is the environment in which the protagonists live are the best kind of films. VVitch was a turning point for this kind of cinema.
Eh, Witch was more so a manifestation that took cues from Western (as in the American west) Horror, which relied heavily on environmental elements in some films as early as the 80s, and heavily in the 90s and early 2000s.
The Terror was fantastic other than the HORRIBLY CGI'd Polar Bear creature thingy. I just wish they'd have either made it look like a polar bear, or you never saw it at all.
