I do understand having to take a break on projects. I have a jacket that I was hand sewing. The mockup came out beautiful and is an awesome bonus jacket. However, the actual jacket I wanted to make wasn't coming out right. I decided I have to rip out all the seams on the peplum, and add an extra panel. However, it is a very patterned fabric that I need to match up to make it look right. So, yeah. It's on the back burner, taking up a whole mess of space that I dearly want to clear out. 😣
Thank you! The original video I was planning this week did not work out. I kept having to rip out various parts of the dress in addition to numerous tech problems. Then I just tried it on and it’s doesn’t fit! So back to the drawing board and more ripping 🙄
Feel free to do as few videos as you like. It's more important you have a good time sewing. The rest of us don't make videos, we'd be shellshocked if we had to make sewing videos.

Hello! I didn't know I was supposed to have a list. 😆 I have not figured out my sewing machine, but I have been trying. I promised a friend that I would sew her a quilt using some fabric bags she has collected. I also did want to make some new dresses with my sewing machine.
BUT. Since I have not figured out the machine yet, I have been cutting out the fabric pieces for the dresses to cut down on my fabric stash. Then all I have to do is sew everything together once I get my machine figured out. So, I guess progress is progress? 🤷♀️💟
You’re batch tasking you sewing projects!! That’s great progress I need to do the same thing so I can get more sewing done. What kind of sewing machine do you have? Maybe I can help you get it going so you can use it 😉
@@SewSewLounge It is a Baby lock Denim Pro. I actually got it brand new as a Christmas gift decades ago and never used it. 😆

You are looking great. I self-drafted a skirt from a skirt block and by the time I finished it, It was too big because I lost some weight.😅😅

Best wishes for your upcoming wedding! Purple for your dress sounds wonderful. For a bathing suit, I like the look of Closet Core Patterns Sophie swimsuit and their Bombshell swimsuit pattern. Looking forward to seeing you work on your wedding and honeymoon sewing. ❤

It's going to be a most exciting summer and fall for you. And a good one for wrap dresses. But as I hear you once again mention that High Fashion closed, it occurs to me that it seems bizarre that the 4th largest city in the country doesn't have a really good (or any?) Fabric store. Maybe you, Jen and Ann should tackle that problem.
It is going to be very exciting!! And you get to be an integral part of it 😉 High Fashion was one of the last good fabric stores in town. So sad it’s closed.

Hi Toni. I can’t wait to see the wrap dress video. I plan on making a fall wrap dress. Maybe I’ll hunt down that pattern. However, Vogue patterns scare me.

Thanks for your sweet comment. There is a very easy Vogue wrap dress that’s very similar to the original DVF wrap dress pattern-Vogue 8379. You should check it out!
