One of best places I visited. Highly recommend it You forgot the VERY convenient key bracelets we all received. No worries you key is on your wrist always We will definitely return there again, food, staff, location and restaurants were all amazing!!!
By far the best video walkthrough of this resort! I have been very skeptical about booking a wedding here and I think you have just sold me on this resort with your video alone! Thanks a million times.
@@iamlucygallagher interesting you say that, I'm at the Fives right now doing just that. I reviewed your video to prioritize my stays while in Playa De Carmen. Thanks again
@@yup1579 I had an amazing experience there. It really is a beautiful resort that is maintained very well. Even during covid, we had a great experience. Mask were required in some of the common areas, but things were still smooth and enjoyable.
Thankyou so much for the video Lucy, very well done. My daughter and l were there in 2020, arriving back as Covid became more obvious. It was a wonderful experience and we are planning to book again next year as we are going to another resprt this year, l love to relive it with the help of your video. Thankyou.
I'm going there this year, went there in April get the all inclusive package food and drink is free , and services offered are discounted and sold on the beach , never buy them upfront , get some good tennis shoes and 2 pairs of swim trunks and sunscreen hope to go back next year this place was awesome
What an awesome job showcasing the resort! One of the best videos out there. You can really get an understanding of the layout and what the resort looks like! Thank you.
I was there with my family June 11-18th, 2021. Resort was very nice! The service was impeccable! The spa couples massage was an amazing experience. However, the all inclusive food was mediocre to below average. The liquor was not top shelf and choices were limited. Just manage your expectations on the quality of the food and drinks. Everything else was great! P.S. don’t buy the wine from the wine list. Prices are at least 4-5X US Retail. Example a bottle of cheap J Lohr and 14 hands they were asking over 2300 pesos or about $100+ US dollars. Tip know your exchange rate!
Thank u for the video. I just booked for me and my family and I was kind of worry . But after seeing ur video it made it all clear that I made the right decision. Thank u again
Hi! Thinking about honeymooning at Hotel Xcaret Arte June 23 - July 2 this year. How was the weather for you guys? That's the only thing we are worried about. It being way too hot to enjoy ourselves. Any info would help :)
Hi Lucy, which Travel agent did you book this hotel through? Is it true that some holiday companies like Tui have contracts for the older rooms? Thank you
I think one of the villas close to the plaza (where most of the restaurants are) would probably be the most practical but getting around in golf carts is really easy and there are elevators in all the buildings :)
Can you please tell me about the rooms as I have no problem with children but I would not really like a room over looking the kids play park.Do the blocks have names? or is a garden room better as you over look the garden than the pool.Thanks.
Hello really enjoyed your video very informative! My family and I will be there mid July. One question in your opinion which villa has the best location? Either close to swim up bar and pool or restaurants.
I have stayed here 2 year ago when it was managed by Karisma as I have a Ruby Membership at that time everything was all-inclusive. I realize from your video Marleys and the Ice cream Parlour are not included what about The Gin Bar, The Tequila Bar and Lizards? I have I also heard top shelf liquors are not part of the package also. I would like to know prior to my reservation April 2022. Thank you.
Yes, all the bars and restaurants are part of the all-inclusive. In terms of food and drink, we only paid extra at Marley's and the Ice-Cream parlour. I would definitely reach out to one of concierges at the hotel to determine the type of package you have :)
I love this video so much info and you show everything about the place. Can you please tell me is it best to book the day before where you want to eat.We are staying there in Jan and we are all inclusive so I take it we can eat and drink everywhere in the hotel for free! I love the little food stalls that are around aswell to eat.

When in June did you go? Was the weather bad then? Ive heard The weather isnt the best in June. Also, was everything free except that experience, in your video?
Hi, great video! Yours is one of the best. We are going to head here in a couple months. I've heard some complaints of booking the restaurants? What are your thoughts? And some food quality was inconsistent? Thanks!
Hello. We love the hotel. Are all of the restaurants especially including the traditional Mexican one inclusive with our vacation? Or are there other traditional Mexican eating places that are included in the all inclusive vacation?
What a brilliant review. We're looking for the start of June. What was the weather like? We've been a bit put off as its the start of the rainy season.
Thank you! It is starting to get hot and humid. The main concern during the summer months is not so much the rain (which tend to be showers) but the seaweed...
HI! Great walk through. My family of 4 (2 teen girls) is looking at this resort as a possiblity...is this actually an all-inclusive resort? I have seen mixed reviews and comments on this, such as paying for the tacos at the taco stand? Thanks for this video!
When are you going me my parents and 3 siblings ( one younger 2 teens ) in August the 20th or have u already visited? (Only commented because of u said family of four) Edit : didn't realize u said fam of 4 2 adults and two children. I thought u ment adults and 4 kids
Hey Paula. If you chose an all-inclusive accommodation package , all the restaurants are all inclusive. Note that Marley's, the juice bar and the ice-cream parlor in the Plaza are not included in the all-inclusive package though.
Hilton is in the heart of Playa del Carmen so you are close to all the nightlife, restaurants, shops, cafes...The Fives is 10mins away from the town centre so the beach is quieter and there are a lot more green spaces.
Hi great video, very informative. Did you notice how far away the golf club is please. Also are the golf carts driving around to give you lifts around the resort.
Love your video! I will be there next year in February! I noticed you mentioned prices for the ice cream shop or the Casa restaurant. Are those fees additional to the all inclusive packages? Did you make videos on any cenotes or day tours? Thank you!!
Watch out, you pay for all inclusive but you end up paying extra if you order certain foods (I was never told, until I saw my bill) and many of the things you want to eat, you end up paying for them. Just be careful.
I booked my Honeymoon here before I saw your video. I was a bit nervous because both my fiance and I have not done all-inclusive before. Your video eased my concerns. I've read all the comments about the food and making reservations, but can I make a spa reservation when we get there or should I do that before we arrive? Also, did you do any experiences off site while you were there? What do you suggest?
You can book everything when you arrive, the food is good there (the Italian restaurant is the best by far). I highly recommend that you go to Cozumel island on your own by taking a taxi to the ferry and buying tickets for the ferry at the official spot. Once you get to the island buy an excursion called "el Cielo".
Do you have to pay extra lattes, cappuccinos etc in the the coffee shop? And what were the prices like at the ice cream parlour? I only ask as most AI these are included.
Marley's and the Ice Cream parlour are not part of the All Inclusive package but you can still get coffee and ice cream at all the hotel restaurants :)
Thanks for the video Lucy, we're planning to go check this resort out too. Do you know if their buffets are open currently for breakfast/dinners or is it all a la carte? Would you recommend this resort over others in the area or do you have a favorite?
They do both depending on the restaurant. Flavours have a buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Brasserie has a buffet for breakfast and lunch. All the others are A La Carte. We would definitely recommend the Fives for families - it is close to all to all the fun parks and activities.
You Rock, Lucy! Awesome walkthrough videos! My fiancée and I are looking for a some hotels in Tulum/Playa del Carmen area for our wedding and this is being very helpful.
