My Son, Jed, 30 saw you over my shoulder and wanted to know what you were doing. I took a break from watching, and we have a whole conversation about why you're putting Queens in these boxes, and why there are times bees don't have a Queen. Also told him how you may come to have so many Queens. Between yourself, and Mr Ed, I realise I now have quite a bit of knowledge about bees I will never be able to keep, but sure is fascinating being able to pick up so much just from watching you chaps. Thanks for that ❤
Oh man that it so like my wife trying to keep her car clean .Cant blame her if you could see my old truck 😂. Good to see Bee Commander Jeff as i met them at Expo 2 years ago in Tennessee.I bought some of his honey and it was deluxe! I always look forward to your videos Randy and thanks so much for sharing!
Ohhh, I love the teamwork :) Please say hello to the Mrs. :) 08:28 one of the biggest challenges as a bee operation grows, how to efficiently organize equipment... 16:50 late night walk-ins... wow, fantastic tip! Thanks Randy! I hope you get some cooler weather soon :)
I have a friend who’s wife is starting to keep bees, I , who have no hands on knowledge, was able to find her Queen in a rescued hive!! She was going to put a new Queen in the hive, but I spotted the Queen! Thanks for your and Mr Ed’s videos!!! It was so much fun to finally get to interact with bees!
I wash my Guardian bee jacket once a year whether it needs it or not. LOL I have to say it is a little funky at this point in the season. Wow, cool idea on those styrofoam mating Nucs. Cool timelapse. . . Late night with lots of queens, crazy! Cool video thanks!
Yesterday I made biscuits, added lots of whipped butter and delicious Costal Grove honey! It was so good with crispy bacon on the side and eggs over medium. Thank you Randy & Elizabeth. 🌷🦋🐝
I sent this video to the 2 guys helping me. I plan to go into nuc production up here in Tennessee. Got 65-70 making now, hoping to split to 175-200 April. I appreciate the videos you share. I learn a lot of my methods from watching you and some others. Thanks again and please keep sharing content!! You are making a difference.
We made several of the mating nucs this year with the same styrofoam medical boxes. Only issue we found they hold water quite a bit. I even drilled the entrances upward to prevent water hydrologicing and close to the floor. We had to go back and slap holes in the bottom to keep them drained. Lord willing, y'all don't have any problems and have good success with them!
Still no bees because I have too many other responsibilities right now but next year I promise to plant more flowers for the local bees. 🐝 My yard and flowerbeds are chemical free. Thank you for everything that you, Elizabeth, Pete and your family do. Your videos are entertaining and informative. Like you, I enjoy old buildings. Hoping to move to Mississippi when I retire.
I had real bad arthritis in my hands and the Doc. gave me celibrex which I took for about 2 months and it got better. After taking it for about six months I don't need it anymore. Used to I couldn't hardly bend my fingers and now I have not taken any for 3 to 4 years and my hands are great.
Awesome video so far . Gonna watch the second have after work. I agree with your buddy Love bees. They are fascinating. Bees have been my life sinse the age of around 8 years old and never get bored working with them. Just one quick question. who is winning with the swarm competition? I am only on 19 and think thats about it for me this year. no more room left haha Our hives aare smelling of privet blossom right now as it was nice to see the blossome your side of teh pond as well thousands of miles away the same.
What have you found that works to clean your jackets. My main problem is all my jackets the vail where it bends it makes holes an bees sure do find those little holes. Ouch ouch ouch . Thanks Randy.
@@628DirtRooster I put mine in the bath to soak with Dawn but it is not great also . Thanks I will try that also . Have a good week an hope family is doing well. Thanks
It's wild seeing the old political signs for Randy Boyd and Jimmy Matlock in your truck. Love the videos, best regards to you, Elizabeth, and your dad.
Hey Bro's, kickin it in the Bee yard Taday! Happy Fourth of July Randy and Family 🎉🎊💥🇺🇲. Some how my order got messed up. I ordered a 3x then went back to order 1xl. I got a notice that the XL was sold out. I never heard on the 3x? Melon Bee Catcher🤔 Joanne Shyne-Gannon. I don't know if you guys handle it so I thought I'd ask . Thank you🎉 JO JO IN VT 💞
Hey Randy , no , something happened, not sure what. I ordered a 3x melon bee catcher. Then I went back to order mine 2x same. I got an email, it said sold out XL. That's all I know, so I guess that means I missed out😢. JO JO
Elizabeth just looked and we are all out of those. That is one we weren't reprinting, just selling out of what we had. She's working on some new designs and different colors.

It's been a little cooler with the overcast days lately. I'm thankful for it but still used to dealing with the heat and humidity.

What type of queen cells you add? Italian or Australian?
Italian
That is awesome!

I usually just leave mine out in the weather. It's a testament to the durability of them that they survive my rough use of them.

That sounds incredible!

Y'all are going to do great! I've been enjoying the content you've been putting out.
I always like seeing the friendship and commaraderie you all have working together there in Louisiana.

We’re planting more and more pollinator friendly plants in our yard.
Love these videos! Interesting. I learn so much and I am not (yet) a beekeeper! You guys are tough. 🐝🐝🐝
Thanks for watching our shenanigans.
Ouch... "stain and ferment"... I've not heard it described that way, but it's the truth!
Even my shoes start to ferment. haha
That was a super cool video. I have never seen queens added to queenless hives before. U learn something new everyday lolol. Keep up the good work
Glad you enjoyed it!

Next time pass on the Celibrex and just start beekeeping. :)
Revelence? Bee stings cure arthritis naturally
Looks like you are in Mr Ed's backyard. Surprised he didn't show up.
I took him and Joseph Rawls to lunch Saturday.
Really cool! Hey Jeff, Hey Tommy, hey Tommy's brother. But mostly... Hey Elizabeth, keep em straight over there. 😅
She's doing her dead level best.

Haven’t found anything that gets them white but Norwex has a powder that does great on our hats. I haven’t tried it on the suits yet.

Anyone who likes bees are ok in my book.
Thank you
Women do glisten strongly sometimes.
I've witnessed it.
packing tape or some clear plastic wrapping should help protect
Good stuff!!
Glad you enjoyed it

That dude has had those old signs on that truck for quite some time. They came down from TN of course.

Hey Jo Jo, did you get your order? I just saw this. I hope you got what you needed.
When were you at Winding Creek?! Sorry I missed it.
Over the winter. I can't remember.
First!! Good stuff Randy!! Hope all goes well for you :)
Have a great weekend Randy 😁👍🐝

That was my favorite, too!

@@joanneganon7157 I wear that one all the time. Mine is really faded.
Hope you don't have ants chewing up those foamy boxes and getting in that syrup.
So far so good
Awesome 😎
Thanks 🤗
You didn’t explain what shake bees are?
Excess bees shaken out of other hives.
Hoarder Bee Station
I vote that they chew tunnels in the Styrofoam.
They didn't but I'm sure they would start a tunnel if you blocked them in.
