    I'm Indian so I literally drink masala chai every day and what my mom does is she gets all her spices and she dries the ginger in the sunlight and grinds it into a powder and you can just add a pinch every time you make chai coffee and my favorite is adding it to hot chocolate

    • @AudrieStorme

    small tip - eating citrus' peel is not the best idea unless you grew it. It's generally pretty soaked with chemicals to make it survive the travel ;) better to leave it off as some may be allergic to it.

    I have a family/kitchen garden at home and half of it is for growing flowers and herbs for tea! My favorites so far are lavender chamomile (before bed!) And lemon verbena, mint and ginger for when I'm having the sniffles.
    For me warm apple juice with cinnamon and honey is the ultimate autumn drink to warm up with! And of course hot cocoa for the really cold days!
    I've never had chai tea before, but it looks absolutely amazing! So I'm definitely trying it soon! Sadly, I can't drink coffee due to a chronic illness. But man... It always looks and smells divine! 😍

    Oh noooooooo I wouldn't boil the chai after adding the tea!!! Boiling water releases tannins in black tea and makes it bitter - it's best steeped just below 100C! (But I did like the look of the honey lemon drink and I've definitely got a couple pears I need to use up, so thanks for the inspiration.)

    • @zahraasakrani5114
      @zahraasakrani5114 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I always boil the water with the tea in it. I've only ever heard of people doing it that way. I'm Pakistani so black tea with and without masala is a staple for us since it comes from south Asia.
