the blue + yellow super reflective battenberg is classed as "lights", and, as you ain't allowed blue lights on a recovery truck, a jobsworth copper could do you over... just stick something over the top to break it up merry christmas to you lot down there
Really interesting video this week Greg. Your my sort of man, buying what you like, fixing it up then later selling it and buying something else you like-awesome ! You make a bit of money you lose a bit, but it’s the buzz. 👍🏽😎
I heard recently that having the blue chevron on the side of the car is only illegal if the blue parts are reflective. You can legally have matte blue but not reflective blue. Also, stick the M57 in it! That would be mint.
From one who has learnt from past experiences of rebuilds and replacements, run away from the BMW. Something about them in the Range Rover frame as they go through pistons quite frequently. We were inform it was because of the overall weight. Cummins for sure can handle the weight without problem and always last for well over 300k.
I really didnt think Terry would sell the defender, He had that built from new in 2002 in Germany, It has spent most of it's life draging cars out off 6 multi story carparkes in Watford.
@@GDBRescueandrecovery he did keep a street lifter or 2 as the contracts dont end till the 24th, but he loved the defender, it was not allowed to be left out in the yard overnight
Foot in Mouth I've a mate who put Perkins 6.354 out of a dust cart in to a pre TD 90. Apparently it pulled a tailor like the sht of a shovel but wasn't that fuel efficient and light on the rear.
£2000 for the American disaster repo job , probably a bit less and it could be considered reasonable then just weigh it in for scrap . Not a penny less than 3k then 2 1/2k so at 2k it’s not far off .
Greg, one thing I’d suggest is stop monitoring your subscribers by exact number and just round them. I know you’re trying to build your following but I think the exact count could put people off
ELP Engineering I think will be a great ally going forwards... proper reliable solution!👍
Oh yes amazing service , used him for years on deliverys etc, but never had the full package untill yesterday, highly recommend. 💥

Very good of elp to help out thats aweasome
You can easily warm the wheel with a gas torch and the weights will stick.
Nah, easier not to bother and then tell them to go elsewhere if needed after already paying.

merry christmas to you lot down there
I don’t think that battenburg is reflective, just a vinyl sticker, so should be ok
it's non reflective and the company it came from held the Police contract for recovery anyway

Buying a rangerover, it is a good thing you have a breakdown business!!!

Looking at some new plates so when u order the plates do they come with a yellow one for the back and white one for the front or not?
If you send him a message, or go on the website directly theres numerous different options etc! Cheers again! GDB
The standard price on our website is for a set, both front and rear! Single options for just the front or just the rear are also available 😊!

Kartec's old Landrover.
YOUR BOARD ON THE M6 IS DOWN
wasn't it only last week you were ripping into the defender and how small they were 😂
much more room in a 110 though when you can slide the seat back with no bulkhead to stop you
Good video!
