Nice work there Matt! It really is out in the sticks there! Imagine a pair of Gevo's on a stack train across the Nullabour?? That I'd pay to see! Cheers Gregg.
With the Coastal Shipping Rules set to change, it is believed that rail will soon see a dramatic downturn in traffic across the Trans. Expect during peak periods, such as the Christmas/New Year rush.
@@MS_Trains I don't know how long 1800 meters is but I think its a standard European size which makes them small. I guess that's how you get away with toy locos.
@@hypothebai4634 Typical ignorant yank. Almost everywhere in the world uses the metric system. America should try keeping up. Toy locos? They're the same HP as their American equivalent just physically smaller due to our smaller loading gauge.
Hypo Thebai Also remember there are not a lot of reference points - it is a large outback area. Also some are special purpose trains (supporting track maintenance etc - so not main freight trains)
Excellent Matt

Great stuff from 2017 Matt, I notice an almost lack of graffiti on the wagons, that must have started later on. Regards Bill in Victoria 3936
