It's extremely beautiful arrangement. You are nice man and very generous teacher. It seems to me that there is some influence of Mr. Tommy Emmanuel. Thank a lot.
My fingers are sore and exhausted but after a couple of hours practice I’ve now learned the song! Thanks a lot for the lesson, you really are as good a teacher as you are a player.
Hello again Joe, For the past months I’ve enjoyed playing your arrangement. I finally decided to set my doubts aside and press record! I’d be honored for you to give it a listen. All the best!
I'm from Victoria, BC and am apart of the University of Victoria guitar club. Although I haven't met him, I believe you know Bob Sama? That is so cool as he's the one who got me started playing with a thumb pick with his Borsalino cover. Small world!
I love the way you teach & your arrangement of this song. I have very short fingers & I’ve struggled to wrap around & press the E string with my thumb- any suggestions?
My friend! Like always, this was so good! I do sort of play, but not near like this. You make everything look and sound so good and easy! I think I'd rather just sit and listen, enjoy your playing and pretend I'm playing this beautiful piece along with you! LOL! Thanks, Joe. All the best bud, from a small humble town in Ohio USA!
It’s super good ! This is one of my favorite my number 1 song is (happy birthday ) from Nelson Ned and hope to hear it from you one day it’s in spanish a real challenge to play this song, you play whit feelings ( guarantee to make people cry ) I am jealous of your passion and i wish I would be that passionate one day . Keep up sharing your gifts THANKS !
OMG Im so excited to learn this! I've started using a thumb pick for the past 2 months and have been really pushing myself with Freight Train, Windy & Warm, Dixie McGuire, and Borsalino. It has been quite intense on the fingers but I've been searching for another song to learn that isn't as extreme as Borsalino but still has some particularly technical parts. This is the perfect song and am grateful you spent the time to make a detailed video for it.
Thanks so much Joe. You're a great teacher. I first had trouble with bending my ring finger on the opening C shape (G to A note). But then I found if I simply make an Am shape and then place my pinkie on the C note (A string) it was perfectly comfortable. Funny how the mind works. Anyway, I hope this helps others, too. I've been playing since I was ten years old, or, 56 years ago. I own three acoustics: 1968 Guild M-20; 1991 OM-03 Larrivee parlor; 1993 Larrivee D-50 with a bigger than normal sound hole. Both Larrivees were made in Victoria, BC.
Hey !! Joe you got another tutorial, and i love this because its one of my favorite songs by the Beatles, The way you executes every melody in this song makes my have goosebumps 💙
Great arrangement and lesson! Leading into the guitar solo, there’s a repeat or alternate version of the turnaround played mainly on organ, with higher voicings (I think the top note is a high C). Can you do a finger style arrangement of that, please?
Great tutorial! Are you ever going to put tutorials of your originals up on here or on the truefire channel? I would really love to learn some of the stuff off borders, it's one of my favourite albums rn!
Thanks Daniel! I have many lessons for original Fingerstyle tunes on Guitar Synergy, thanks for letting me know you’d like to learn some songs from Borders!
Thanks for your amazing lessons Joe!! Your tutorial is very helpful, i Hope you can do another of "Hit the road Jack" its really awesome that cover. Thanks 🎶❤
Joe talks a lot about his left hand but if you play the video again and pay close attention to his right hand you may notice interesting things there as well.
I think it’s great but you play your own version too fast and cowwboyish at some places where the classical counterpoint should be allowed to dominate. And, to other subscribers, I can’t play it like this and that is irrelevant so long as you fawn over everything.

big up!!!!
Beautifully done Joe, love your arrangements. Thanks for sharing .
The guitar sounds so good in your hands it almost hurts a little.. the melody jumps out from the chords so crisp and clearly

🎸
Hey Joe, can you make a lesson for "Can you feel the love tonight"? Thanks
Could you make a video of the song Borders? It's my favourite!
A lesson for Layla would be awesome

Thanks for your amazing lessons Joe!! Your tutorial is very helpful, i Hope you can do another of "Hit the road Jack" its really awesome that cover. Thanks 🎶❤
Your the closest to Tommy 😇 enjoying the lessons
Joe like always you play great. I would like to know the action set-up you use on your guitar?
Thanks Robert, it’s low and really easy to play but it doesn’t buzz. Glaser instruments setup my guitars, I’ve never measured the action
Thank you
Sounds like texas
Can I get some beats for practice.
Joe talks a lot about his left hand but if you play the video again and pay close attention to his right hand you may notice interesting things there as well.
❤🎶❤ 🙏🙏🙏
What strings do you use?
I use Ernie Ball strings! Set of 12-54, but I put a heavier high E on, a 0.14 or 0.13 usually
@@Joe_Robinson awesome, thank you so much!
using the thumb is really "handy"? JOES GOT PUNS
😂
