We go for a drive in this 2012 Mini Cooper S Inspired by Goodwood. Rolls Royce designers had some fun and created a very limited edition mini Cooper s. There is only 1000 of these world wide, with only 140 in North America.
I'm here from the Cullinan, any mention of a mini Cooper is an instant watch for me.

Have the same sounding blowoff valve from Forge on my Cooper S and it's awsome, and really loud outside the car, it scares people
Had no idea these existed, but they are very nice.
I probably wouldn't drive it often though, because I would be too scared of getting it dirty!!

The color change accent light isn't special to the Goodwood edition. My wife's Countryman S (also 2012), has the same accent light changes. Towards the front of the car changes color, towards the back changes brightness.
You are right. Even my clubman 2010 SOHO edition has this feature.

This is a car that was produced on the Mk2 r56 platform. It's not a current generation mini. All mini's with the excitement option have had colour changing ambient lighting since the mk1. If you hold that toggle down long enough it will go into disco mode.

Not only available as automatic. My 2012 Goodwood is a manual, as were 200 of the 1000. This one sounds good and looks fun to drive but I'm glad mine is not modified. Bought it used with only 14,000 on it and it was like new. Paid about half the original price.

Speaking of Fonts, the Lexus IS used to have the same font Law and Order used.
2009 Mini Cooper s also has the interior lights that can change colors, I don't think it's exclusive to this.

It isn't. I have a 2008 JCW and it has the mood lights as well. I just love how quick these cars are and they corner like nothing else. I will always own one.

Very very similar to my Cooper S... minus Goodwood of course. Same performance mods and exterior is all blacked. It's so fun getting to see this review and their reactions because of that. This is how I feel driving my MCS
I own a 2016 Clubman and many things passed to new Minis. Of course, optioning a car like that would cost you twice as much as the car.

That switch doesn’t change interior lighting on just the goodwood edition. I’ve had two 2007 minis that both did it.
It's like these guys have never driving an ordinary chili cooper s. A lot of the things they like about this goodwood edition is either stock or a regular option.

you can change the light colour in all minis. hold it for 10 secs and it will cycle through all the colours

Rolls Royce cars are built in Crewe England and Goodwood is a historic race track in england look up GOODWOOD festival of speed.
+David Thompson incorrect. Rolls Royce's used to be made in Crewe. Since 2002 they have all been made in Goodwood. I'm well aware of the Goodwood festival of speed :)

that one toggle that changes the interior lighting is also in my 14 Cooper S Convertible; it was not exclusive to this vehicle.
corn silk is actually the name of the color, it's just normal leather.

My 2011 base model has the same lights on the interior and the same light selector not just the GoodWood edition
So many different things that were stated wrong. For example,that button that changes the colors is standard equipment on most Mini's. Not hating. Just my JCW has absolutely everything you mentioned and more with the exception of the Harmon Kardon system and paint. Besides that The only real difference would be the leather used. Only that.
Does anybody know what exhaust this has? I was 100% sure I wouldn't find one that sounds better than a jcw exhaust

Just get a JCW rear box and cut out the centre resonator, then boom you basically have the GP exhaust

The interior lights can be changed by that switch in any mini equipped with it. Mine are purple

One feature not mentioned: the Rolls Royce font on the tach and speedo.

You guys have to/need to work on our facts though, the Inspired by Goodwood MINI was available with a manual transmission, and its not the only model with variable interior LED accent lights.

That interior light color switch is not exclusive to the goodwood edition lol. All modern minis have it. I have an r57 and I have it.

My jcw edition 2007 cooper s has the changing interior accent lights. I'm not sure if its only goodwood edition or if I'm just lucky. No sheepswool floormats for me though hahaha :)
