I can watch Documentaries on MMLP all day, seems like every year a new gem comes out on it 💯 to me, the way it impacted me I'd say is the best HIP HOP album of all times, again to me. That's subjective anyway..
You are no longer the young kid from 8 mile. You have grown into a man young men can look up to. All glory to God. Know is your time to heal if that makes any sense. All your music projects the pain you carried. God is doing a new thing with you. What are you gonna do with it, Marshall? Are you ready to step up to your calling? This is your one-shot, your one opportunity. Are you gonna let it slip? I'm praying for you, Marshall.God doesn't make mistakes.❤
@ I mean, Jesus was killed by mere mortals, that would have to be the weakest demi god of all the myths. He was nailed to a plank of wood. Odins son carry’s around a giant hammer. Coincidence? I think not
@ Huh? Who said anything about Jesus though? No one brought Him up. Besides, there are various deities in the Hindu, Buddhist, Mayan/Aztec, and Greek Pantheons that would completely wipe out Odin and the entire Norse cultural mythos-and would overshadow the Guningagap lmaooo.
@@TheEminemShow Nevermind you're right, I forget that the shorts tab exists. My bad. I just saw the channel had a low number of videos and they didn't have a lot of views compared to the subscriber count and got weirded out. Sorry, TH-cam is just full of people who buy channels with a lot of subs.
I’m sorry but yall hype* up Eminem, that album did not show rappers that you can be immensely personal….DMX PAC and others was doing it way before. Yall can speak on Eminem without inflating his importance in rap …he’s a really important figure in rap but it’s no need to make up attributes
@ but they literally were…if anything they were making extremely more personal music that actually resonated with people beyond their own fans base as well…mmlp is respected in the hiphop world for its rhyme schemes and influencing how ppl looked at yt rappers beyond that, that’s it…you don’t hear ppl say I like it bc it showed me I can be personal…they say it had them wondering how he rhymed like that…yall gotta stop
@@Kai2times Nah, you're wrong. Stan, The Way I Am, Marshall Mathers and Who Knew are on that album. Extremely personal songs. That's way more than just rhyming. Like I said, Pac and X weren't making the same type of music. You can't start your argument by saying they were, then turn around and explain why Em isn't like them. That doesn't make any sense
@@EKwesco I never said Eminem isn’t like them I said he wasn’t the first to do the personal shit…but it’s cool I know how you hardcore Eminem fans get, you really about to act like the songs you listed are more personal than Dmx first album or dear mama.. hell just “me against the world” in general Yall funny man shout out Eminem tho
@@Kai2times Nah, I'm just saying it isn't the same. You were talking about one Eminem album, so I responded with songs from that album. 🤣 People like you act like Em only did one thing. My only point is that Pac and X were not making the same music Eminem was back then. They influenced Em, yes, but Em was also influenced by a ton of rock bands, which added more to his production than his rapping, which people hardly ever talk about. Pac was rapping about killing people, and so was X, just as much as Eminem was. None of them ever killed anybody, so as far as the personal aspect, X was probably the most personal of the bunch. The point in the video was not about who was the first to BE personal. The point was that Eminem was the main person to completely remove his ego and make other rappers feel like they didn't need to be flashy or have a perfect life, or only write braggadocious songs, much less violent untrue songs. Nobody looked at X or Pac and thought to themselves that they could get to their level of artistry. Eminem started an entire wave of people among all races trying to rap like him.
Dude wasnt lying. He still hops on tracks like he is a unsigned hype lol
