Tough ride Dan, glad he was able to ride it back to town. As for Sasquatch, I grew up in BC, heard the stories, saw and heard things while off roading, camping, fishing/hunting that I can't explain or hardly believe myself and I can't tell you if they're real or not. I think its' better off hidden from us and we leave them alone.
If you see one please take a picture. But I understand that they are blurry creatures.

Great trip, You will be happy to know I rode my recliner thru the entire trip and didn’t crash once! I did feel Dan’s pain though but I sucked it up and made it thru. Only 7 more days until ??? Something big!! Yea!! Take care my utube riding friend!

I took a lady friend swimming in the gulf of Mexico today and after we swam we went to a beachside shower station .
My lady friend went to use the portapotty after her shower and while i was waiting for her some kids came to shower .
I heard something i never heard before and it instantly made me think of you .
I wasn't watching yet i could hear what was being said . Out of nowhere i heard a little girl exclaim ,....HOLY BROC AND CHEESE .
I'm adding that to my list of favorite expletives .

When my wife was first learning to ride it was during the spring in the Sierras surrounded by Bumble Bees in the Deer Brush flowers. I told her that no matter how much a bee stung her, no matter how much it hurt. Hands on bars and controlled breaking until you can get the helmet or jacket or whatever off to remove the bee/hornet. Screaming is allowed. :)
Yeah. This has happened to me more than once. Hurts everytime. Getting used to it. Ha

Curious about Dan's offroad experience. Grabbing that right lever is a street reflex.
It was a pretty dumb mistake. Every rider knows better, but that all goes out the window with pain. I distinctly remember being really mad at myself as I laid in the dirt doing my self-assessment.
And my experience is almost exclusively offroad. Been riding dirt since I was a kid. I know better. But that changes nothing.😅 Glad to still be riding.

Been watching lots and lots of BDR videos .. hoping to try parts of the Idaho ride this year .. and it looks as if bigger/heavier bikes are a distinct liability.

There is so much to do and see in that leg of the BDR you kind of did yourself a disservice by pushing through it in one day.

Those boots he is wearing look like tall shoes and no knee pads. Take this incident as a learning lesson, always wear good protective boots and knee pads. Hope is injury isn't bad.

@@MotoMission. It seemed to work out. No worries brother. God will give you a chance in the future to make that better choice. Praise God for his grace and mercy. Happy he is okay. 👍. I bottomed out my suspension on a dirt road once. Tore off my license plate. Got caught in my chain. Locked up the rear. Praise God I didn't crash. But a complete stranger showed up in a truck. I was able to get rolling. And he followed me for a bit to make sure I was road worthy. Never forgot that. Now if I ever see a biker broke or down. I always stop stay and help. Code of the road for a biker. 👊

Man oh man Dan the Man!! So glad ya'll survived the attack of the killer bees!! Dan, I pray ya heal up quickly. Boy I sure know what it's like to break a foot first day out. I couldn't imagine how destroyed my foot would have been if I didn't have my tech 7s on. Be safe, God bless
