      Its actually insane to think about. Cleopatra lived closer in time to the Moon landing than the construction of the pyramids. Mammoths were still alive when the pyramid of GIza was build.

    So fun fact: the sphinx statue in Giza was constructed with leftover stone meant for another temple, and my art history professor said that the area where it is tends to get filled up with sand but every other spot had been taken up already, so I call it the hot dog of the old kingdom

      The reason why most pictures of the Great Pyramids are only ever taken from one specific angle is because from any other angle, the world's sixth-largest metropolis is quite distractingly visible.

    “Closest thing to a happy ending in greek mythology” you get to be a massive as dragon that nothing in nature can hurt (well disease etc.) with your loving wife without any responsibilities! Only way that was more awesome is if they stuck around and ruled as dragons, because indoors, servants and comforts of civilisation. Hell they might even have kept the opposable thumbs.

    You learn this from a lesson in Persona 4 Golden-the limestone they used to build the pyramids were white to begin with, not painted white. The combination of human touching (robbers and archaeologists) and erosion (wind and sand) kinda wore out the white and made them more golden-ish-brown).

    Double fun fact:
    1. When the first pyramids of Egypt were built there were still populations of woolly mammoths on islands near the Siberian coast.
    2. Bull sharks probably do "better" than parasitoid wasps in terms of killing, because the pups of this species devour each other before they are even born, and since this species has two wombs the babies can swim freely between the two.
    PS: a parasitoid species is a species of parasite that necessarily kills its host to move on to another stage of its life cycle. While true parasites do not intend to kill their host, they actually only pose a threat to their host if the host is physically stressed (this includes malnutrition or injury).
    Edit: Sorry, someone in the comments pointed out to me that I confused vagina and wombs.

    • @cobraglatiator
      @cobraglatiator วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      on the sharks, i think that goes for most sharks, or at least species other than bulls, and it's two wombs, each of which will make multiple babies, which then start eating each other. IIRC.

      @hugobellet4950 17 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +1

      @@cobraglatiator Thanks, I confused vagina with wombs.
      For the sharks I just used the bull sharks because this is the species where I am sure they canibalize before birth, but I agree with you on the fact that most ovoviviparous sharks have this particularity. Well except in whale sharks and other filter-feeding species.

    Also, if you remember Ozymandias from Fate, a subtle reminder that his Noble Phantasm, Ramesseum Tentyris, was basically everything Blue showed off in that first video AND THEN SOME.
    As for Reds video... yeah, being transformed into a cool dragon alongside his cool goddess wife, and presumably he'd still have the loyalty of his dragon tooth warriors from before so he basically still has something like a royal court... Cadmos seems like he just straight up won.

  • @plague3038
    @plague3038 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

    I’m afraid Blue calling the Pyramids half the mass of the moons was hyperbole. While the pyramids may be about 57 tons of rock, the moon has a few more digits to it’s mass than the pyramids.
    Though the pyramids did definitely alter local climates thanks to their sheer scale.

  • @SwordlordRoy
    @SwordlordRoy วันที่ผ่านมา +2

    16:09 Airier, my friend, I believe this is what your English Major would refer to as "Hyperbole". I don't think Blue is stating the pyramids are literally half the size of the moon, just that they are absurdly big when compared to the temples he's currently talking about...
