Watching this harvest season is just heart wrenching, from drought to hail to flooded fields, but nothing stops our farmers. I can’t imagine how hard all the caked up mud is on your equipment, esp if it’s rubbing on hoses.
I think you'll store the extra corn in some above ground swimming pools you found on craigslist and FB marketplace, and cover it with old billboard vinyl. At least that's what my cheap a$$ would do...
It wouldn't be that helpful when the fields are so wet that you can't take the cart out in them. I think a 12 row adds some more efficiency, but it isn't going to be a day and night difference.
This is the muddiest harvest we have had in a long time. 2019 was an incredibly wet spring and summer, but the fall wasn't bad at all. The yields were poorer, which made it a little easier!
I can understand your concern, but my family and I have worked together for over a decade. We have a very clear understanding of when it is and isn't safe to move a machine.
@@aTrippyFarmer Never expect anyone to work as hard as you. Expect them to do 100% of what they're capable of. I know that's much easier said than done.
Katie didn't even knock over any standing corn backing out? Now that's a professional!!
She is good...
or just some good editing 😎

It’s only stuck if you have to pull it out lol 😂
Haul it up to iowa to gift it to your favorite eastern iowa youtuber??
Now THAT’s a good one!
That is a tempting offer. I'll barter for an X9 demo 😎
Warmer and Wet in Illinois. Things to do list!
Awesome video as always. Nothing like the mud ye ha. Need to have a Katie cam be awesome. Keep them videos coming and stay safe my friends 😎🌞👍🚜
Awesome Video and Much Love as Always Andy!!!
Glad you enjoyed it!!!
Time to fill the old blue havestors!

😉
Fill the good ole harvestores
👍👍👍
Thank you for your videos they are the best
As a professional recliner driver I always stop by this channel for some of the best video entertainment on Ytube ;-}
Recliner drivers are always welcome!
Bag it!
Your not the only one dealing with mud and weather. Keep your chin up. It will be over before you know it.
You just gotta keep spinning your way through and you'll be done soon!
Storage I would think grain bags. Quick on-site Storage with no trucks getting stuck or loaded on the road.
Leave it standing for a month when thing have froze, there will be some nice days coming
Grain bags
Have you ever hear of/seen augers with telescopic axles ? Extended for stability when the auger is up, then retracted for transport.
My guess for corn storage, you’re going to fill an out building(if the walls are reinforced so you don’t end up with a massive roofed deer feeder)
Use the Blue Toom stones , should be fun.
Fill the silos
Ship it
Bag it
12v coffee maker needed.
That seems like a great idea and also a dangerous one 😜
Kate did dad fire you forever or just for that day. Have a great day kate and god bless you and your family
In jesus Christ mighty name Amen
Get the ag bag out and store your corn in there
good guess!
Well Katie needs better equipment or floaters or tracks. Maybe a go fund me would pay for that lol 😆 going in the Ole harvester silo.
Are those tracks approved for the combine by JD? And if not how does it affect warranty? Maybe a stupid question but
I have no clue. I am willing to bet that our dealership would have our back if something went wrong.
@@aTrippyFarmer Thats good.
Take it to the corner sell for cash
I like that idea!
Carry it to the closest elevator?
Ag bag
Store it in neighbours shed;)
In the machine shed?
If you do use the harvester silos please where a mask when you open the lids I've heard of people dying from the gasses trapped in them
I have never heard of that, but it doesn't sound too far-fetched. Thank you!
Tell me your not gonna use the old harvestors!
Ag bag it ???
Why not use a 12 row head and get the harvest done faster. Being the fields are so big
It wouldn't be that helpful when the fields are so wet that you can't take the cart out in them. I think a 12 row adds some more efficiency, but it isn't going to be a day and night difference.

What exactly do farmers mean when they say "custom work" ?
That is usually how farmers describe when they do work for other farmers and get paid for doing it
Working for another farmer for a fee. We would use our own equipment!
Just watched some of your other videos from this week that had killer drone footage, what drone do you use?
you think that you are muddier then 2019 when we had lots of rain all summer wow thats some serious mud

Hey there Trippy, the JD strike is over, the new 6 year contract was ratified Wednesday.
"Nothing Runs Like A Deere" 🦌👍🇺🇸
Dude....why are you climbing under machinery whilst the engine is running?
I can understand your concern, but my family and I have worked together for over a decade. We have a very clear understanding of when it is and isn't safe to move a machine.
Why yall don't have at least 5 to 10 employees working for yall to take the stress off u and your dad
We run them all off on the first day 😒
