God includes and values us in His plan, but ultimately, it’s all about Him.
What a wonderful truth, knowing that God has made our lives to be significant to Him in His sovereign plan, despite the fact that our lives on this earth only account for a very small portion of time. However, our lives are eternally and entirely bound up in the plan of God. These truths are very evident in Genesis 49, where at the end of his life, Jacob blesses his 12 sons and prophesies over them concerning the future.
Ultimately, God’s plan is about His glory revealed through His Son Jesus Christ, through whom God saves His people from their sins and brings them into His eternal kingdom.
