I learned in Psychology that the reason parents wake up easily after having kids is not only because they slept late but because their body has changed, especially their brain and it's a response you only gain after becoming a parent, basically what it means is you will wake up easily to sounds and hear sounds more clearly etc because it's your brain alerting you that you need to wake up to not only check on your child but to help and protect them.
Jackson's mind has most likely switched to parent mode long before this show, even if he hasn't got kids of his own.

This is true. Am mom. I used to sleep like a frickin' log but now I wake up at the slightest sound. I'm also much more anxious now than before.
I’m not a mom but i’m the eldest out three siblings, and the age gap between me and my siblings is 6 years. So i was the one who takes care of them because my parents have work. In the process of me taking care of them since they were babies my body involuntary turn on its parent mode, and just like jackson i also started waking up with the slightest sounds because i was so used to it by now.

If you become a "carer" for a child, even if the parent is still present in the children's life, for example; a babysitter for a child or an older sibling who takes care of a younger sibling outside of school hours while parents are at work etc. You are classed as a carer because that's exactly what you are doing, you are caring for a child that is not your own when a parent is not able to at that current moment in time thus a part of your brain prioritises that child, and as a result, you will wake up a little easier if they are in distress because your their carer and you need to assist and protect them.

The kid's name is Haohao, Jackson Wang (Jiaer is his mandarin name) is from Kpop group Got7 but he has his own solo career now.
Haohao woke up because his diaper needed to be changed, Jackson took him to the bathroom and even sat Haohao on the toilet in case anymore came out. Haohao wanted to be with him so they read a book and drank milk. Jackson taught Haohao English words and imagined themselves as the characters.
