I've tried this before and it is a very easy and fast solution, it just unfortunately has this problem of sometimes nudging notes upwards, and sometimes downwards when it is filtering notes. So you can't use it for sticking to the basic foundational chords of a key. But it is still a nice quick path and it's helped me a lot before!
Whatever rocks your boat, no. Like making a cheating note for your exams, by the time you've condensed it on a small paper, you've actually learned it. Some 'cheating' can just make it easier to perform or jam, e.g. when operating different devices. Especially when you're like me, and just don't seem to remember it 😅
Thanks for this vid! Definitely got me thinking about many more possibilities for quick chord building
what about using the mod wheel to change the multi note selector... would that be possible?
Thank you for the tip
I usually just use a multi note into a key filter and it makes the types of chord shape changes I’m looking for.

This seems to me a lot of work to avoid learning just a little bit about chord shapes and voicing. Going the long way around.
