My son and I were there. First time to Oshkosh. It was an amazing day! The firework/drone display was the greatest we've ever witnessed! Thanks for the great video! It will help us relive the day!! Headed back today!
My first time as well and I’ve lived in Wisconsin less than 2 hrs away my whole life. I’m 28 and I agree wholeheartedly that it was the best fireworks display I’ve EVER SEEN! Still reeling from it
@@dabneyoffermein595 We had planned in short notice so it was expensive for a couple nights. The cheapest but nicest one available a month ago was in De Pere (a 46 mile drive). So I'm sure that planning for the future (usually hotel websites give a year and some months in advance) will save you quite a bit!
Our gratitude to the EAA for inviting us to perform a parachute drop to honor our Veterans! Hope to be back next year! THANK YOU ALL!! Martin Gerhard Lead Parachutist WWII Airborne Demonstration Team
It was a pleasure and an honor to jump at Air Venture for the first time. Our team had a great time demonstrating our drop, to remember and honor our Veterans! Martin Gerhard Lead Parachutist WWII Airborne Demonstration Team
@@GLEX234 Actually it does A-10A didnt as it was all analog but all A-10s have been upgraded to C standard which include digital avionics that include airspeed warnings among other things
Yep Oshkosh is tops. I love the night shows and re-enactments. I live in Oshkosh right under those jet flight paths. We here in Oshkosh appreciate the EAA and all the fine folks that attend the show.
Does anyone know if that vintage painted (red, white, & blue) F-16 is privately owned, or does it still belong to the USAF? I haven't seen that paint scheme since I was in high school in the 80's.
My first time at Oshkosh and it was amazing. My only gripe was I wish they flew those bombers down the runway for a better side on picture. I've never seen either B-29 fly, both times Fifi came to NH she broke... But was an amazing experience and get wait to get back next year.
The F-22 is flying earrape, I heard an F-18 without afterburners the other day and it sounded like the A400M without its propellers’ bass buzz. Weird right?
Maybe 70,000. Or maybe talking about the estimated attendance for the entire week. Our record last year was 677,000 TOTAL across all days. We had a lot of people, but definitely not 3/4 of a million.
500 drones, each equipped with multi-color led lights, which acted like the backdrop curtain in a theater, creating many images of planes and a USA flag, with different light and fireworks equipped planes performing in front of them. Also some ground based fireworks. An AMAZING performance by all involved. Shortly before dark the A-10, F-16, F-22 and F-35 did a diamond formation with several overflights coming from different directions. Rapid Fire ground explosions simulated the 70 rounds a second sound of the 30mm GAU-8 gatling gun on the A10 Thunderbolt II.
My understanding is that only 2 B-29s are flying currently, so it was a formation of all currently flyable B-29s along with the British Lancaster 4 engine bomber.

Same here! Went with the fam!
how did you get hotel rooms? I think I need to get them like 4 years in advance, is that the best strategy?

Amazing demonstration! Wish I could have been there in person!
My uncle jumped at D-Day and the Bulge. Thank you for honoring him and his buddies - especially the ones who never came home.
Thank you so much for your time and effort for those of us who couldn't be there. That was amazing.
The fireworks show was insane! Wish I was there. What a group of talented pilots ❤
Right outside my hometown! Greatest airshow on the planet
Wish I could have been there....love all the formation flying, the afterburners, and the fireworks drones.
Seeing the parachuters jump gave me goose bumps. Insane bravery by those boys back in WW2

I wanted to hear the "brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrp" from its gun! Love the Wart-hog!
Doesn’t have an overspeed warning

The only time we’ll see both flying B-29’s and a Lancaster in the same formation
Thank You Very Much. Was not able to make it this year. Appreciate your Efforts in doing This 🇺🇸👍

I was there yesterday with my grandma and it was our first time and we had a blast! (Particularly me lol)

All of the planes are really amazing !
Love the RV’s. Best part of the show!! 😊
I was on the Ford Tri-motor when the blue angels did their flyby
Went there on Wednesday yesterday, loved it. Super disappointed I missed the surprise Blue Angels fly by though😢
Did you catch the Solo Thunderbird flyover?
@@w9awx1 Saw that, it was in the middle of the airshow so couldn't miss it

It’s the new paint scheme on the USAF Viper Demo jet.
C'mon, both DOC and FIFI were there? Let's gooooo😮
Were you filming right by Classic Point?

I really love the Republic Seabee!

Brrrrrrttt ❤💥
Not often you see Thunderbird F-16 with external tanks.
Their on their way to Milwaukee from whereever they came from, so probably needed it

It’s still difficult to top the *BONE* in terms of loudness.
so cool!!!!!
Awesome!
Beyond Cool !
the twighlight demo was so fucking cool

Are those drones with lights or a laser light show at the end?

2:16, just noticed this white spec. Probably dust or something, but... what do you guys think this could be?🤨 (ufo??)
i miss the f14 Tomcat !
im going tmr
Okay I get it...this must be some kind of an airplane party...who knew?

Haha, gotta love the random thunderbird F-16 that did a low pass left and never came back!
The fireworks bit at 3:07 is so cool but so scary for the pilot that takes some real skill with poor visibility I imagine l
And just like that I am 10-years-old again. 👍
TWO B-29's! Isnt there only 2 or 3 still flyable in the world?
