Tom, i personally always understood the video like it was all that guy and he was only „bad news“. He did the destruction/robbed the place and only causes problems, also leaving his mark there (the chain) to say, hey it was me! And i think this adds on to Peeps lyrics and trying to get the Storyline of the Girl is really deep, cause i guess we all know a person, sombody just like that dude in here, might as well your old relationship who only caused problems if u look back at it. About the ending of the video:
The necklace that shows up says "in another life" (and then she puts the shirt with a "spotlight" over it).
I think that may be an reference/analogy to his death.
Girl goes away, he keeps there stuck in that moment, and when she finally decides to come back for him, everything was crashed, messed up, and he was gone...

I used to think journaling was bull snot but after I gave it a try I realized how insane I was being repeating bad habits that had me just spinning and burning out. Therapy, meditation, gardening, and doing art work has me in a better place that I haven't been in a long time. If you think think therapy is dumb I used to think the same thing until I gave it a try and kept going. I finally feel I matter.

@@ReactionTherapyOfficial I like to post things like this b/c I use to believe that happiness wasn't achievable to me and most people in tough spots like me didn't talk about stuff in their life for fear they would be judged. Just hope maybe what I've experienced may help someone else find some peace in their life too. Much love as always!
my take is that the ex boyfriend still cares about her and stared her down to get her to leave, he then robbed the place with his friends and left the necklace that was once hers because he wanted to show he cared about her but when she left the pillow with a picture of a spotlight, she shows that she has moved on from her past life with him

i love your reaktions becuase back in the day used to listen to a lot of musik like this. nowerdays i can t realy enjoy them anymore because it fells like my past is triing to pull me back. seeing a therapist with such a great tast in musik puts me a bit at ease because you have a way in turning the depressing thoats around wich makes everything just a bit more fine

Great work as always. A little different style than what you normally do but you should check out La Dispute. Amazing storytelling band with deep messages in their music. I’d recommend Edward Benz 27 Times, I See Everything, and King Park. Watch the lyric videos to read along with bc it may be hard to understand the singer at times.

I had to listen to this song the day I got that text. I felt so disrespected and still love and hate her. She has something we both made that I don't get to see. It's so hard not seeing our beautiful creation. I wish it could have fixed itself. Or at least the time with our baby.
