He starts the song saying "fuck my life, cant save that, girl. Don't tell me you can save that shit". So, "save that shit" means his life.
This song is really sad, because it shows how incapable peep was to give a good life or stability to this girl, so he keeps repeating that he can make her rich or take her to cool places. Good videos, as always Ps: "glo" means get high.

I might have this wrong but to me, this track is about 2 different girls in peep’s life.
The girl washing the dishes and doing all the ‘normal’ stuff, is Emma - many people, including Liza (peep’s mum) say she was the love of peep’s life, so that’s actually her in the video - Peep was with her for a long time but things got really difficult when peep started blowing up and he was constantly touring and had different girlfriends. She did a lovely eulogy at peep’s funeral (you can see it online or in the Everybody’s Everything’ documentary - that’s brilliant!)
The girl living the ‘high life’ is a different girl (I think she’s one of the label or management’s daughter) and I think she represents peep’s life and the people in it when things that ok off, rather than Emma from his hometown that he’d known since they were young.
In the end, I think peep realises who is ‘real’ in his life and does want to be with Emma but she’s unsure. Then in the very end, she agreed to give it another go with him.
At least - that’s my take from watching the various documentaries, interviews and what Peep’s mum and Emma have both said.

I love this track - this version with the video was released after peep died but I think they captured his personality perfectly! Such a charismatic guy!
His mum is really great with Peep fans and is very active on his socials and on Reddit in particular! She is very open, I think it must help her cope to an extent. We lost our daughter when she was a baby and only had one night with her, it was 16 years ago now and you never get over something like that, you learn coping mechanisms - that are hopefully healthy (mine weren’t for a few years but all good now!). Even having lost a child, I can’t imagine how traumatic a death like peep’s would be on a parent, knowing it was preventable to an extent and being so helpless, the anger, guilt, sorrow, disbelief etc would unbearable.
Keep doing what you do Tom - you’re helping people every single day! I’d have loved a channel like this years ago - not that I don’t love it now lol! It would’ve for sure helped me cope a bit better in the darker days! ❤️

Fantastic suggestion too - one of my absolute fav peep songs! I don’t think I’m exactly the ‘target’ audience for artists like peep - being in my mid 40’s lol - but always loved music, especially hip hop. I’m a massive Kid Cudi fan and the first time I heard Peep, I got the same feeling, you can just feel the emotion in his music!

My take on it is, he says “save that shit “ as in his life. He knows he’s going to die if he keeps using and it’s as if he accepted he’s not going to stop, not even for his girlfriend. It would be great to see you check out Elliott Smith. He's an incredible musician and lyricist, different from the artists you have been reacting to, but he's amazing.
His songs are very deep and powerful. Some songs I would recommend are King's Crossing, Roman Candle, Condor Ave., Half Right, Christian Brothers, Alameda and Everything Means Nothing To Me.

imagen how stressfull it has to be living a trshed up live just compleily accepted the fact that its not worth to fight for things you don t realy care about. life is so much more than just doing what you fell right now but its also hard to fell good at all when you depressed. the thing is that you fell free a first but slowly building youself a cache to life in wich you can less and less escape form.
