This synth is really everything you could want in a modern analog polysynth. Soft, celestial, brutal, vibey, cheesy, it really can cover all grounds. They threw everything they had into this. What’s not to like? Would be fun to see some kind of hybrid of this and the “Freak” line, or a “Superfreak” built out into Polybrute 6/12 format.

would you consider this keyboard for making Trap music with 808s and heavy kicks? or do you think the prophet rev2 or prophet x is a better solution. i have the new montage 61 key which is amazing but im looking for a keyboard that will help me make more atmospheric/ heavy plucks and lead synths that can be unique and have its own distinction while using the montage for real sounds like piano strings wood instruments and all.
Lol @ the Organ sound being “Cheesy” … well, it’s the best sound in this video; so what does that say about the Polybrute … ?! Yeah, it can do an EP sound, too. Everything else sounds like a digital or hybrid synth. Which doesn’t stop me liking Brasstrings, Bass Evolution & Brass Lead. Nicely demoed. 👍🏼

Im in the market for my first syth, and i believe this is the one i should buy due to all the modern tech and easy work flow. But is it me or it does not sound bad ass. Im really not convinced. I would of ran out and bought it already. I think the prophet 6 sounds crazier. Thank you for the the demo. Im just trying to figure this out.
Its more "IDM-ey sound design" oriented synth imo. If you want a dirtier sound its prophet 6 or moog muse, which has superb punchy bass (which polybrute sadly lacks)
You're a great player, and the video is very well done. You earned a subscription. HOWEVER, concerning the Polybrute 12, for whatever reason, the overall sound/vibe just doesn't do much for me at $4000. Am I crazy for not being blown away by the basic TONE of the PB or the Muse? Not blowing my mind for the prices they're commanding.

Buying a synth with this much sound design power just to use the presets is the stupidest thing you could do

Moog Muse has good bass so its worth it. This one lacks the warmth and bass, but makes up for it if you like pure IDM-ey sound design
