    I'm not but if I was in charge, the Browns would always wear the traditional all-white uniforms at home. A beautiful, understated, classic look. I hate them wearing all the brown and orange they do now. On gray northeast Ohio days (or nights in this case), the whites and the orange helmets "popped", dominating the picture.

    Absolute glory days. Im now 53, but a 15/16 year old me and my late dad had season tickets in the dawg pound this season. I am so grateful I have these memories with the old man. It was the best times of my life. They didn't call it Pandemonium Palace for nothing...it was wild. If you were there in the 80s, you know what im talking about..lmao 🤣

    Frank Gifford, Al Michaels and Dan Dierdorf were a classic trio.

    • @rjpsuh06
      @rjpsuh06 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      They were.
      They would be together the next year because Dierdorf was at CBS calling NFL games with Dick Stockton.
      In 1986 on MNF, it was just Michaels and Gifford. Dierdorf made the team better.

    Brings back great memories of the Kosar led Browns... not always pretty, but somehow managed to make plays when needed, and win some big games.

    This was my first ever football game I attended live. My dad took me and my two brothers. He told us if we told our mom about anything we saw going on at the game he’d never take us again.

    The 86' Dolphins Uniforms were the best. Old School Jerseys with the pants they eventually wore off and on the next 10 years.

      80’s Jersey’s were better with very few exceptions.

    The 1986 season was the end of Miami’s 16 season run of being the Big Dog in the AFC East. The 4 seasons between 86 and 89 - when Miami failed to really challenge for a playoff berth - were a huge opportunity lost - as marino’s peak injury free years were completely wasted. Over 4 seasons Shula (as GM) did not properly upgrade the defence or improve the running game. Shula really did not have productive draft over this period save for some success with Louis Oliver and Jarvis Williams - in 1990 he hit pay dirt with Webb and Simms to upgrade OL - but Shula the GM let down Shula the HC many times ver this era.

    • @jmbuff1
      @jmbuff1 3 ปีที่แล้ว +12

      And most important of all (in my opinion), was the departure of Bill Arnsparger after the 1983 season. Shula never reached a Super Bowl without him.

    • @whataboutrob442

    Another ‘great’ Dolphin defense to support DM. In 1986, 4 different times their Defense gave up 500 yards or more & this game was one of them. 558 yards by Cleveland’s offense in this game. Felt like they could just do what they wanted & surprised it wasn’t a blowout. Never felt like Miami was in this game. Cleveland was ahead of their time winning the coin flip & deferring, lol

    1986 Week 10 Miami at Cleveland, not Cleveland at Miami. 1986 Week 10 was played at the old Cleveland Stadium off the shores of Lake Erie and The Dawg Pound.
