wow, that is such a nice dorm. the dorm rooms at my local university are tiny and almost remind me of prison cells 😂 and everyone in the hall shares 1 bathroom

I really want to continue my study, I want to feel how having a roommates, student life, eating the grass when no money (jk) but I doesn't have that kind of opportunity, our family struggling on financial issue. Yes I am working but not really enough for support myself but I'm already apply on government college which is they pay half of the study and get scholarships. It's been 3 years already to apply it, and tomorrow I'm gonna take online interview for the college. Wish me luck, oh btw nice room! It's really comfy... 😍

I was wondering, after watching your Siri video, if there is an app that could help you with speaking? I mean, I know you are comfortable with being deaf, but it might be helpful with people who don't know ASL. I just imagine some app that would ask you to say letters and words and then tell you how close you were and how to improve. Or would you not be interested?
Hello there! Well, I wouldn't be interested in using an app for that as I am very satisfied with my deafness.
I thought not, but I just wondered. My grandparents were deaf, which is why your channel caught my attention (I shared with my Mum) - my grandmother was born deaf and was fine with it, but my grandfather went deaf at 4 years old because of measles (he was lucky not to die) so he always resented it a bit. I'm in the UK so luckily they got a lot of foreign movies they could go and watch that had subtitles. And they had a Deaf Club they went to. When they started putting subtitles on TV in the Eighties my grandmother got hooked on soap operas. It makes me a little sad that they've gone as they would have loved all the new, assistive technology today, and seeing someone like you doing so well.

Is this a deaf person school? If not, how will she understand what the teacher is saying? Also, if the roommates dont know sign language that would be a hurdle to get over. How does that work?
Indeed, this is a university where all deaf students are attending to and it is not only for the deaf but hearing too!
I went to college at a U of MN school with a deaf woman and she had an ASL interpreter in her classes with her. It wasn't a big deal.
