- This is the 7th video tier list ranking a handful of Patrik Pietschmann covers from EASIEST to HARDEST!!! I am not sure how many more of these I will make, if you have any burning suggestions make sure to let me know and if there are enough of them I will make another video!

Patrick Pietschmann is definitively not for beginners.
yeaaaa, I'd say if you have a couple years of piano practice, you could definitely give some of the easier covers a good go, but they are typically difficult for sure.
@@TDuncPiano yes ! Blackheart was my fourth hard cover i started to learn, after On my way, the Spectre (that i forgot everything), Faded (all Peter Buka)
Also learned Lily by Tom Mucenieks (insane pianist too)
But effectively when i started to learn On my way, i was practicing yet for a few years easy pieces
A big Hello from Germany! I actually came back to playing the piano through Patriks covers. Played for 13 years in school and haven‘t played for at least 15 years since then. Now I‘m back at the keys trying to tackle Interstellar and Oppenheimer. Maybe I should have watched your videos first to start with easier pieces… 😅 Thank you for putting the videos together! ❤ Can‘t wait for part 8!

into the unknown frozen 2, spiderman medley no way home tribute (pretty long so might be difficult), battle of the heroes star wars, arrival to earth transformers, a new horizon from Patrik (don't remember if you ranked it but i don't think so)

I still think oppenheimer in hard tier is a war crime :D great video as always! Maybe into the unknown, Guren no yumiya, zoosters breakout, imitation game, chevaliers de sangreal, violet melody, carol of the bells and arrival to earth next? :)
ahaha where do you think Oppenheimer should be :) Thank you for the suggestions, I will add them to the lists!
i also wrote it before about same arrangment. right hand increases tempo by 5 bpm every time melody finishes, left hand plays different tempo almost every time (some parts left hand chords come fast sometimes normal it changes always) and u have to cover 3 different sounds ( right hand melody, left hand chords, and left hand single notes) in my opinion it is at least SS tear but as i said it is my opinion no one has to agree ❤
@@TDuncPiano Ive been following Patrik pretty much since the beginning and i have played like 60% of his arrangements and this one was top 10 in terms of difficulty to me. It was just so hard to wrap my head around the tempo thing and Ive always found myself just playing like 6 to 7 different tempi instead of the original 17 since 5 bpm tempo diff is pretty much impossible to recreate without a metronome (atleast for me). I guess the difficulty of the piece heavily depends on how perfectionist you wanna be about it. I mean if you just think about it like "yeah im just gonnna go faster and then a little bit slower and then much faster" and so on and so on its much easier but the more you try to stay accurate to the original tempo the more inhuman it gets. Id put it in ss+ tier since ive played both hedwigs theme and skyrim and i think fits perfectly between the 2. :) I guess the entry level to this piece is like hard tier but skill ceiling is divine tier to me because you can put so much time and effort into getting the tempo right.
@@punblade4458 that's a good point, I couldn't agree more. I will emphasise that in the next video and explain why I put it in hard tier but how it could be ss+ tier if you want it to be perfectly accurate.
I'm actually liking these videos more than I expected, great work! I do think Across the Stars needs to he moved to Hard Tier tho

Yo, have you already ranked his "Children - Robert Miles" arrangement? Such a beautiful arrangement because he gives an echo effect to the melody which is really difficult to do.

It’s very interesting to hear an experienced piano player’s perspective on Patrik’s music. I’m an amateur, so all of his music are hard for me except the Tennessee 😅 I really enjoy the videos, btw.
Just out of curiosity, do you think at his level he can easily play classical music if he wants to? I really wish he would play any of Chopin or Liszt or Schubert even just once.
Thank you! I think he could easily learn some pretty difficult classical pieces if he wanted to, because his technique is flawless. But I get the impression he really much prefers to play film music and stuff like that. I am the same 😂. Film music >>

I still think Dark knight needs to be higher, just cause its so long and it has some really insane left hand movements later on, its only once i think so maybe thats why its low on the list, and maybe cause the right hand isnt doing too much? idk, anyway im learning that here and there just cause so difficult but i am in that range from easy to medium of his arrangements they so cool, yes i do think superman is pretty difficult will learn that too eventually haha. Anyway loving the ranking vids especially patrick pietschmann look up to that dude a lot XD, love his arrangements of movies cool as! Keep it up :D
I've looked at dark Knight a lot but yea, I would move it up but when I compare it to the ones above it I just don't see it being harder than them. He is the goat of piano covers!! Thanks for supporting :)
