Man, seeing tibia like this brings back some memories. I’m probably in the very small minority that actually doesn’t miss this. Don’t get me wrong, would be fun for an hour or so. But I actually prefer how tibia is now 😬
You take that blasphemy elsewhere!!!! Old tibia is the best. Haha i will admit, some aspects of new tibia I love, but I don't think they can ever come close to providing the feeling of retro tibia
@ oh I agree. I remember being that 11 year old coming home from school and buzzing to play old tibia. But I actually think it’s a better game now. Everyone just got sick of the pay 2 win aspect. That’s what really killed Tibia.
@@KyleGrindell Tibia is like realife it can be nice and wonderful but also harsh and cruel. Pay to win was always there, people, bought, botted chars, account sharing, you could buy gold for rl money chars for rl money items for rl money. and there where so many ways to cheat or get advantage over others by money or power. only you decide how to play pay or not cheat or not. I like to build a char myself and play for fun and in peace without cheating. I bought 2 Chars in Bazaar bur I will sell then again because they do not feel like mine.
That is a great question. Most successful MMORPG's were at their peak in their classic or retro days, and lots of them have capitalized on that by creating playable versions of their previous selves. After all these years CipSoft has kind of steady shown us they have a weird way of thinking, but I think they will have to do it at some point!
