No , it is very difficult to copy, because Venus has very special swing on backhand ( racket heand is not showing up). Copy what she sayed , but use Djokovic swing.

Honestly this gave me kind of a “aha” moment . I always struggled with my backhand and after watching this I think it was down to that contact point like you said - was bringing my head up too fast and spraying it. Can’t wait to practice that and stop running around to my forehand all the time 😂 thanks for a great vid, Vee!

I am guessing that playing repetitively will help develop these but I think what makes Tennis so interesting is that just by achieving being in the top 10 does not mean you will not be beaten by someone who has to have that level and how ether traits such as mental fortitude, personality, inner belief. one piece of advice i can give you as a coach is try to never ever ever be tentative. one thing i see from new players is they will almost patty cake the ball in just because they're afraid to make a mistake. NO you have to go for a good shot and to do that you have to take a good strong swimg swing thru your shot

Thank you so much. Today I lost my match mostly because my backhand shots go way up long balls. The don't look up and keep the body low makes total sense because I unintentionally do look up and stand straight after I hit my backhands. I never thought of that before. I will definitely practice this next week. I really do appreciate the lessons Venus. Love your channel.
