Ha! I warn my plants to get it together when they aren't growing well. I threaten to toss them, but they know I won't do it. I use such old products. They know I'm not likely to toss them either! 😁 Great cards.
LOL! Thanks so much for watching, Mary!
For those intricate dies- Put a dryer sheet under the card stock and most little pieces will stick to it.
I've heard of this before, not sure why I didn't remember. I will definitely give it a try! Thanks for watching!
Used or new dryer sheet? Thanks for the tip!
@@pambuckner5939 either. I use the same one many times
I'm in Calgary and though we only were exposed to 40% of the solar eclipse or less, it was exciting and brought a lot of people together.
Thanks for watching!
Great cards as always Ardyth! Really love the tulip card & your coloring.
Thanks so much!
I love that your jumper is made in the kinds of colours that you often use in your cards.
I love that you called it a jumper - reminds me of living in the UK a long time ago! Yes, my sister gave me this one - it's definitely me! Thanks for watching!
I love the tulip card, great use of small stamp.
Thanks so much!
All theses cards are beautiful, my favorite was the one with the border die, looks like waves. Thinking out side of the box isn’t my forte so I’m glad yours is. 🥰💕
Thanks so much for watching!
Cool cards! Thank you so much! xxx💖💖💖
Thanks so much for watching!
I really liked those scallop dies you have and what you did with them. I bet they would be a wow punch if you cut them from printed cardstock and layered them with the coordinating colors from the same card stock. Lots of ideas.
You're exactly right - so many ideas for using a basic like that! Thanks so much for watching!
Beautiful cards, I must go through my stash. I absolutely love your sweater. Ruth down under.
Haha! My sister gave me that recently! Love all the colours! Thanks for watching!
First, I want to say that I loved the card you created on Craft Roulette!
I enjoy all your videos. They are so inspirational and relaxing to watch! The cards are beautiful. Thanks for sharing your creative journey with us! ❤️
Thanks so much - that was a tricky set of parameters! lol! Thanks so much for all your support and kind words!
@@ardyth
You are more than deserving. ❤️
Love the edge die idea thank you
Thanks for watching!
I have been working with lots of items in my stash that I have never used. It has been a wonderful experience. Thank you for the encouragement.
Yay! I agree - pretty sure most of us have unused treasures we've forgotten! Thanks for watching!
I have that same intricate die and just used it to make a Mother's Day card. Never thought about using another die to cut a shape, thanks for the tip. I love your videos, you give some of the best tips and tricks for using supplies.
That's a lovely compliment! Thanks so much for watching!
I love your tulip card! I have that stamp and never would have thought of that! Thanks!!! ❤❤❤
Thanks so much for watching!
Love what you did with that first card. So clever!
Thanks so much!
Thanks for the great tips! Love your sweater, looks great on you!
Thanks so much!
I’ve been cleaning and purging all month! My next task is going thru and using every die and stamp at least once. Thanks for the inspiration! See you at the summit!
I'm wondering about doing that as well - Thanks so much for watching!
Thanks for the inspiration! I love seeing your creative process!
Thank you so much!
Pretty Tulips, I just ordered it from the clearance section.
Thanks for watching!
Great cards and thought process to reduce inventory ❤️
Thanks so much! 😊
That is one thing I desperately want to try to do is emboss my dies! I have never tried it! Only tried a stencil once and I happen to have quite a lot of stand alone dies and more coverplates than I can ever use.( So many addictions in card making) I also have never once even tried putting a part of a cover die inside a shape like this. So many techniques, so little time. You are just amazing Ardyth! Truly! I love everything you do, not just like, LOVE EVERYTHING! YOUR STASH TOO! SPECTACULAR CARDS!
Great cards! Today’s video inspires me to take a good look at my (favorite) dies. It might be that I am not going to purge that much (read: not at all). I still have plenty I have not used yet, or barely at all. Time to use some new stuff!! Thanks for sharing, see you at the summit 👍
No need to purge if you don't want to, but it's definitely good to use it! Thanks so much for watching, Anneke!
All are so beautiful. The tulip one became kind of art deco-ish, gorgeous! Hope you're feeling better soon 🤧
Thank you so much! (I sounded worse than I felt, I was definitely a little stuffy but my noise-cancelling sound system makes it super noticeable! lol!) Thanks for watching!
Beautiful 😊
Thank you so much 😀
It's very easy for me to see why you like that tulip stamp. It's bold lines and more simple not detailed or sketchy. Which means it works well with all your geometric patterns and large bold sentiments. I too like this tulip stamp, it's adorable. It looks like it matches in size to the 4 individual flowers I bought from Altenew with the matching dies. I'm positive it was part of that mini series. I'll have to try to remember to see if I even have it. Love that card, and your coloring is fabulous. Markers has been a huge frustration for me and I have wasted over $400 on them so far and still don't have a set that covers everything. So frustrating. They're either WAY too out of my league expensive or missing colors or something. I have OHUHU but I can't explain how or why, but their pinks are like highlighters! I've been talking to them and Altenew alot. I hope to have a nice set someday. Until then, I just don't use any flower or bouquet sets. Sad.
The cards were so beautiful! But I couldn’t take my eyes off your colorful sweater. Just like Jospeh’s tunic 😊
My sister bought that for me - it's so pretty! Thanks for watching!
Love all your ideas! ❤ I was so happy for the tulip save. 😄 Thank you Ardyth!
LOL! I think it's the tiny leaves that make me not 100% in love with this stamp. Thanks for watching!
Beautiful cards Ardyth! I've signed up for the organizers class, but hope I can watch it.Have signed up for free classes before but because of the time zone difference, was unable to watch them(not that good at technology, lol)
LOL! I get it. On the free ticket, the videos should be available for 24 hours, so hopefully by Saturday morning your time, you should be able to catch the last 12 hours of the ones that will go live on Friday morning our time. I think that's about right. Thanks for watching!
Gorgeous cards 🥰 I love your color choices, your card designs and your tutorial ❤️ thanks for sharing your creativity Hugs xx
Thank you so much!
Great idea!!
Thank you! 😊
I have a floral coverplate die that I thought would be great but is fiddly. You've given me a fabulous idea for trying something different and also being okay with letting it go if it's not going to be a long-term love.
Life's to short to be fighting with our hobby, I think! lol! I hope it works out, but definitely ok to let it go if it doesn't! Thanks for watching!
Fabulous cards! Great usage of your existing products!😊
Thanks so much!
Super cute cards. The colors you used are very pretty:) Tfs and God bless:)
Thanks for watching!
When die-cutting, put a piece of bubble wrap paper under the cardstock you're cutting. It works like a dream. I'm now collecting all packages from amazon. Love the idea of the first card. I have quite a few of background dies that I can use this way. Thanks for inspiration.
This makes it cut more cleanly? I haven't heard of that, but will try it. Do you have to adjust your sandwich at all? Thanks for sharing!
Is that to emboss the bubble wrap at the same time as die cutting? Can you explain please?
Oh my goodness! Did you knit your shirt? I love it. Had to stop the video to mention it. Now back to the fun….
LOL! No. My sister gave it to me. It's definitely fun! Thanks for watching!
I've been considering reorganizing some of my pastes, paints, and glitters to make room for my new Lunar Pastes (I couldn't resist). I'd prefer to have them all in one place and some have outgrown their space. I may just give up most of the glitters, especially the old ones and just keep a couple. In truth, I rarely use them except for the rock candy, which I can create my own colors with. I find I reorganize my stamps and dies the most as the original categories were a bit too broad as my collection grew. Oddly, stencils have been the easiest for me. I still use broader categories BUT I also have them organized by size. Although I did finally give my Tim Holtz their own binder as there were too many to justify including them in one of the other binders and I want them in their own special place. What a rant. Love your tips for keeping organized. I'm still on the fence about the summit. Weekends aren't the best time for me as it's my opportunity to spend time with my adult daughter and it's baseball season. I guess I'll need to decide soon.
Organizing is definitely an ongoing activity, as our needs and interests and tools change. I get it about weekend time - family time is precious! Thanks for watching!
Gorgeous cards my friend! Always an inspiration!
Thanks so much, Amy!
Love all of these!
Thank you!
Brilliant! And the cards are so awesome, especially the last one.
Thanks so much!
i'm nearly 70b but I"d take it if you decide it's too difficult!!! i'm a new carde maker! LOVE that green stuck in the rows of trim!
LOL! I'll let you know! Thanks so much for watching!
You have good happy birthday dies….maybe a video on them? Thank you for this video, time for me to destash
I spend a lot of time looking for word dies I like. It's harder than I think to find ones that cut well and look good and work for a variety of styles. I have lots from WaffleFlower, but recent favourites are Concord & 9th Everyday expressions, and I'm really enjoying these Let's Celebrate dies from Scrapbook. Thanks for watching!
First let me volunteer to help you find a home for anything that you just can't find use for anymore. LOL no I'm not laughing. You and I have such similar tastes I dare to say even the same although I craft far too complicatedly. I wasn't even 3 minutes into the video and saw that fantastic cover die! OOOHHHH Ardyth howI love your style!
LOL! I have a group of Canadian ladies who usually take any destash items off my hands. Thanks so much for watching, Denise!
Great ideas!! Beautiful cards!!
Thanks so much!
Beautiful cards! The tulip colors are so pretty!
Thanks for watching!
Your cards are always so bright and cheerful! I have some stamps & dies that I need to take another look at and try to use in a different way.
I absolutely love the sweater you are wearing! Did you make it? Another one of your talents, perhaps? As always, thank you for sharing the beautiful cards!
My sister bought the sweater for me - it's so pretty! I do not knit, but lately I've been thinking I might like to try crochet. I love granny squares! Thanks for watching!
Great tips like always ! Beautiful cards !Thank you !
Thanks so much!
These cards are great! Thanks for the much needed inspiration. BTW I like your top, the colors are so spring-y.
Thanks so much!
TFS! Love the color combo of the last card!❤
Thanks so much!
Great ideas and beautiful cards. And they all matched your pretty sweater! I don’t think anything landed in your discard pile though?
You noticed... lol! Nope. I'm keeping all of these, but I do feel better for having dragged them out and used them! Thanks for watching!
Ardyth, Great video. I am redoing my craft room & I'm saving my stamps & dies until last to go through them & decide what stays & goes. I've signed up for next wkend & will watch your video. 😊
LOL! I think you meant video, not bidet! Thanks so much! Looking forward to seeing you at the Summit (my live is on Friday at 4, or 4:30, I think)
Oh my goodness. Stupid auto correct. Going to correct that right now. 😅
@@kakylong2 🤣
Really nice cards, but throughout the video, I was trying to think how I could achieve the vibrant colors and textures of your sweater for a card background!!!
LOL! Thanks, my sister bought that for me! Thanks for watching!
@@ardyth Nice sister 😄❤
@@suetownsend1932 she is (although truth be told, she bought it for herself and then realized it was more of an "Ardyth look". lol!)
Y you should try the tissue. That would make it work well
Tissue paper? Or facial tissue? I would definitely give it a try! Thanks for sharing!
Can you refer me to any video where you discuss your digital filing system for your supples? Thank you!
ardythpr.blogspot.com/p/free-resources.html
Fabulous cards and video, Ardyth! I won't be able to watch the Organization Summit video next weekend but I am in need of how to organize my craft room. Where did you buy the clear wide bins you have store your stamp and die packages in?
I got them at Canadian Tire www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/the-home-edit-x-idesign-clear-plastic-divided-stacking-freezer-bin-storage-organizer-1429817p.1429817.html?rq=fridge+bin#srp I assume you are not in Canada, but you can take a look to see if you can find them near you. Thanks for watching!
I am indeed in Canada! There is a Canadian Tire close by so I will check there. Thank you for replying. Have a great weekend! PS/I hope you had a great opportunity to see the Solar Eclipse!
@@shellyrulli5787 Oh yay! I have had them for a while and used them in different ways at different times but am really very happy with my current set up! We were on the highway between Sarnia and London during the eclipse, so it got very dim, but not dark like in Niagara Falls.
Beautiful cards. What electronic system do you use for your inventory?
I recently moved from Evernote to Air Table. Video coming soon!
I’m moving from Evernote to Color My Life, but not sure if I’ve made the right choice. Looking forward to your video on sortable.
Where do you get the box you use to spray things on your card?
That is a Tim Holtz Splatter (or maybe Splat) box? I think there should be a link in the description, but they're available at scrapbook. com and Simon Says Stamp. But you can use any old box. Thanks for watching!
@@ardyth I looked in the description box. I didn’t see it. But I couldn’t have missed it. Thanks. I love your videos!
@@TheBlackdiaful LOL! I may have not put it in the list. I try to remember to include everything, but it doesn't always work out that way! lol!
I love this idea
- what size square cards do you make most and were do you get you envelopes from? I want to try square cards
Thanks! My square cards are 4.25x4.25", so they still fit in regular A2-sized envelopes without requiring extra postage. It's my favourite size! Thanks for watching!
@@ardyth thank you so much
We don’t need to spend anymore money than we have too!!!
👍✌️🙏❤️
Thanks!
