I LOVE your videos. I am a teacher, retiring in a year and a half. My heart keeps going back to Panama. Where to settle is the big question for now. I plan to do one of the relocation tours this summer. I am so excited. And your videos are sooo helpful. Thank you. ❤️

Another great video. I love the maps and the drives. Other youtubers just interview new expats for information, which is ok, but I want to SEE the areas. I also like you guys showing the outskirts of the cities you visit. Boquete is on my list but I'm looking outside the city. Keep up the good work.

Thanks. We sort of feel everyone has different things they like. So one person's view might not fit another. Actually seeing a lot of an area, at least to us, pretty much makes it easy to think it'll be good or bad without anyone else's input. After that, all the specifics of what goes on in an area kicks in to complete the thinking.

Allow me to add… we really appreciate your comments 😊. As Pat said, we try to present our view in a way that you can draw your own conclusions. V

Another great video, thank you for sharing. I have a request if possible, it is the rainy season now, could you show what it's like when it's raining.

One of our earlier ones had rain in rainy season. It was about the Golden Frog Inn. th-cam.com/video/nbdRPGfOZW8/w-d-xo.html. But generally, it's like Florida. Rain during the day, every day, but just for a few hours. At times really really heavy. So basically rainy for long stretches of days unlike non-rainy season with long stretches of sunny days. We thought it'd be bad/tough. It was no big deal.

Thanks for the great videos. I have a question. I have lived in Miami for the last 50 years. I plan on retiring next year. I've been to El Valle De Anon and Uverito Beach. Not long enough to really get a feel for either. I prefer the dry zones and will be looking at Las Tablas and Chitre. Between the 2 which in your opinion would be the quieter area. I have no medical issues and am fully bilingual. It's just me and my dog. My needs are simple. I am not looking for big shopping centers and not interested in any sports. Just a quiet place where I can live in peace and get out of the rat race that is Miami.

Whew, that's a tough one. Both would likely fit your bill. And they're close to each other. You could live in or around Las Tablas (it's smaller---both seem quiet) and always have Chitre to go to for bigger needs of things. Or, simply be in or around Chitre. They both had a small town feel and with you bi-lingual, either should be good. Like always, it's good to visit for perhaps a month at a rental and see it either is for you exactly. Not to make the choice worse, but we drove around (didn't stay there though) Penonomé. For some reason, I really liked it. Hard to explain. Also small and quiet but seemingly modern despite it being almost 500 years old. Luckily it's on the way to Chitre and Las Tablas if you're driving from Panama City. Perhaps an overnight or two night stay there on the way would help choosing.

Thanks, when I was in Panama in May, I was told to stay away from Penome because of all of the construction. Being a Structural Building Inspector and GC I had NO problem staying away from construction. I just saw a nice small home in San Carlos as well as a small place in Las Tablas. I plan on going back to Panama in January and this time spend a little more time there. I appreciate your response and eh videos that are very helpful and well thought out. @@laptopseniors
