Gore magala is one of the best Elder dragon especially in MH4 storyline. The rivalry between Gore Magala and hunter is very good, where they first meet and fight when both of them are still weak, Gore is still in the juvenile phase and the hunter is still weak on experience. Then the fight continued until in the end the hunter came with strong weapons and Gore who had become an elder dragon, a decisive battle for the two rivals who have been competing for a long time
My only gripe with his theme in rise is that they took out 1:24 and that was me favorite part. and according to youtube it was a lot of peoples favorite part as well, given by how it's the most replayed

Frenzy is the best alternative state the series has ever had though, 4U apex was gutter trash but frenzy was a cool risk/reward mechanic and shits all over tempered monsters

@@dragumkirisute1998 so imagine him as the caravan or solo story's main boss, taking it all the way to rank 10 and in online, once you kick malzeno, the game makes you fight an apex rajang, apex zinogre, both with 2000 hp, ibushi and narwa with 3000 hp, magnamalo and crimson glow valstrax with 4000 hp, all with half of their defense so you deal double damage, then malzeno with 5000 hp, and gore, who molts into shagaru, adding 30 minutes to the quest due to him having 7000 hp and his normal defense until rage roar that signalizes his molting, and if you hit him he temporaly becomes chaotic gore, gaining double defense than usual with his defense going back to normal when he is finally molting into a shagaru magala
I hate this version of Gore Magala's theme. The orchestra feels really weak and it doesn't grab me at all like the original version's does. It's just running in the background rather than the music running alongside the action. Tons of videogame soundtracks suffer from this and it's something that is specifically sought after and taught but that way of going about it is meant for background music and is then being used inappropriately for action tracks.
