- Here are some tips to help you pass your Alberta class 5 road test! I have highlighted the mistakes I made during my class 5 road test so you don't make those mistakes too!
***Please note: Rules may have changed and laws might be different from when I did my test so i advise you do your own research and check out the road test website***

I was born in Calgary and have lived here my entire life, but I just got my class 7 last year. I got comfortable taking city transit, but istg every year I get older I hate taking the bus more and more. And calgary is a big city! I'm taking my test at the end of next nothing, I'm so excited to drive. I've already bought a car. Thank you for telling us your experience 💗

lmao @ "take your L in peace". But no jokes this video is very encouraging. I had been driving for about 6 years in Abuja were the roads are mostly free. Here in Edmonton, I've been putting off doing my road test, even though with my driving history I could have taken it long before now. I failed the Class 7 test once before passing so that traumatized me a bit lol. My first brush up session with an instructor was so discouraging, first time I ever heard of uphill or downhill parking. I was feeling like a fresh learner. Anyhow, I booked my road test, practiced with a friend's car, and was just going to take the test like that because I didn't want to pay for any more brush-up sessions with the instructor but you've encouraged me to do so. I just called the instructor and booked 2 hours with him right I take my test. I will come back soon to share good news!

@@lifeoftari804 Testimony time! as soon as I typed that comment, i called the instructor and booked for a 2 hour brush up just before my test. Next day was test day. Had my brush up and this time, instructor was impressed by my improvements and said he is confident I will pass. 2 hours later, test time. I began without doing shoulder checks (I'm used to doing only mirrors checks) but I remembered you and began turning my head up and down like a crazy person lol. Passed all my parkings on the first try. Then we got to a school zone, i got distracted trying to change lanes and my speed went up to 38km! I immediately noticed and pressed my break. Examiner noted it and told me to be mindful of school zones, I said yes sir! Next thing I knew, we were back at the registry. Test was over, moment of truth. I had no idea how the scoring is, I thought anything below 60 is a fail... so wrong. He showed me his ipad, i saw 50. I let out a defeated sigh thinking to myself "i failed". Only to hear him say "Congratulations!" then i turned to him and said "wait, did I pass?" He said yes. I screamed so loud for joy, he was telling me to take it easy lol. I got docked for no shoulder checks, going 28km at 40km zone, and wrong positioning of vehicle when doing left turn at solid green and changing lanes. But hey I'll take 50. Once again thank you for this video Tari, it was God sent! Blessings ❤

During my driving test, the examiner said he won’t allow me drive his grandmother because of the way I was slamming the brakes at stop signs😂

It took me 3 tries to get my GDL im not looking forward to the full mostly on the parking like perpendicular
I never drove a car before, I’m learning it for very first time. Today was my third day of learning driving. I cried because I couldn’t do parallel parking on my third day, I was really feeling miserable 😖 that and really slow when I turn right after 🛑

@@lifeoftari804 i failed two days in a row. First time he failed me for speeding and because i wasnt slowing down in uncontrolled intersections. The next day his colleague failed me because I WAS SLOWING DOWN and chrcking in uncontrolled intersections. According to her, i was obstructing traffic in a 0 traffic zone. 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️Im losing hope these examiner can be fair. What registry did you take the test?
@@dolorakollcakuandoni9613 oh my goodness! Sorry to hear that. Maybe try another registry. I did mine at Southland registry and I didn’t have any issues. I wish you goodluck in your next test! I’m sure you’ll do great.
